Just put it together,. Directions were clear and concise. I bought it to beside my wife as she goes through hospice at home. I like it a ton. The lights are great looking and it's sturdy. I would get another in a heartbeat.

Table is as pictured. Power outlets work fine. Perfect little minimalist side table. I needed this to fit in a tight space that wouodnt block the air vent and it worked perfectly. Instruction manual was clear and easy to understand. You will need your own Phillips head screwdriver to secure the 2 screws for the power outlet portion. Didnt take long to put together. Im happy with it!

Although the instructions are images only, this was easy to assemble. I laid out the plastic bag of parts and cut the end off with scissors. There is one extra component for each fastener (e.g., screw), in case you lose one. I could easily tell which part was which because they included tiny stickers indicating a number that corresponded with the inventory image. You get both a screwdriver and an allen wrench. You don't need a power screwdriver and it's probably not recommended. However, if you have an allen wrench socket attachment for your power tool, grab it, because the majority of the fasteners are hex sockets and they're a hassle to screw in. I don't have a hex socket attachment, but I do have a very good set of allen wrenches that are longer and have a rounded hex end, making it much easier to screw them in. The little freebie is lame. The lightstrip is longer than needed. You will need to bend it (not fold it). I assembled two of these. For the first, I ran it along the bottom of the shelf over to the leg and down. For the second, I wrapped it around the power unit that you'll drop into the slot (by this I mean the outlets that you see on the top of the nightstand in the image). One end of the lightstrip has to be connected to a bluetooth power source. As for my comment about misleading image: the LED lightstrip that goes on the bottom of the top shelf requires connecting to power via a bluetooth cable (included). You will most likely plug this bluetooth cable into one of the two bluetooth outlets on the top of the unit. So in the images here, you'll see a bluetooth cable plugged in. That's likely for the LED lightstrip and not the phone that is shown. So if you think you're getting two outlets, you're not: you get one. Plus, you have to have that cable looping from under to over the top (unless you decide to grab a block and plug into an outlet in the wall).
