A very effective and easy to use mouse repellent that doesn’t have an overpowering odour

The long awaited review is here. Back in December I was desperate to be free of my mouse (mice) problem. Sleeping in a tight box room with enough floor space to skirt between my large wardrobe and one half of my bed, my room was packed. Under my bed was plastic boxes, easy accessible items, and my really large and heavy mirror bookshelf that stands to the side of my door. It was on one cold December night that I heard the tell-tale signs of life scurrying across my messy room. Crinkling wrappers, darting grey blurs and the foul smell that comes with harbouring a fugitive. I was fortunate in not having a stinking smell in my room but in the areas the mouse had been in it hummed. I found droppings under my bed and in the lowest shelf of my bookshelf. Immediately I bought this and an ultrasonic plug and began my war. The smell is very pepperminty with a hint of ginger. At first the smell is faint but lingers strong and true for a couple of hours. I sprayed under my bed, under my wardrobe and between my bookshelf and wall. I also set live traps, I know they're inhumane but they're the pest not me and one would set an example and it did. I was out of the room for the night (tired from work and anxious to go to sleep in my own bed) by the morning I thought I had claimed victory but oh was I wrong. Its mates came back for vengeance. They lingered around for a couple of more nights each time I sprayed and hoped. The traps were useless to me at this point, they knew better. Smart little things. I cleaned everything, sprayed the floor, removed everything off the floor and only when I hadn't seen life for about a month did I begin moving some things back inside. Now after 3 months I'm nearly out of the bottle and no Mr Mouse has returned. I am always anxious for his return and weary that other factors are at play but it seems for the most part that I have been left unscathed. This is a great product, I will note though that the company reached out to me multiple of times to review this product even going as far as to send a letter to my home address with a QR Code to scan for a freebie, maybe not do that considering the height of QR Code scams going around. That little stunt did put me off after a while but it's been long enough now that even I can't not leave a review. This is a great non-toxic alternative.

Promt delivery, arrived in good condition, has nice pepperminty smell notbto strong. Sprayed itvfor a few days as still heard scurrying. But noises seemed to have.stopped so fingers crossed its working early days. But definately better than other products ive used.

We have had rats in our loft since before the pandemic. I've spent hundreds of pounds on pest controllers all doing the same thing but getting nowhere. We put posion down and every week it gets eaten. Used this spray once and no sign during the week. So we spray every week and for 2 months there has been no sign. The bottle also has a squirt button which from the hatch gets this stuff right across the loft without even going right up. Ive bought a second bottle and it's quite expensive but it's better than a hundred pound a time for a man getting nowhere. It does smell a bit but its not a bad smell and disappears once the hatch is shut. Recommend.

Ok, so far in my garage mice have chewed through 1 x Paddle board, several electrical cables, fishing bag, and had a go at rubber hoses on the bikes - I could fix everything except the £300 paddle board which was completely destroyed. Only thing I can try and do (apart from moving the cat into the garage full time) is to try and deter them from coming in all together. Ive cleaned the garage out, hung new paddle boards from roof and got as much off the floor as possible then sprayed an entire bottle of this all round corners, doors and anywhere they could be getting in. So far so good! Seems to be working as nothing new has been chewed but i think this is is because of combined effort of tidying garage up, hanging as much as possible from roof and spraying this stuff absolutely everywhere - pretty sure its doing its job so delighted with that - will buy more and keep doing this every few months or twice a year. Seems a very good product and doing its job.

We have been having issues with mice in our ceilings, which has made it very hard to catch them as they don’t seem to be anywhere else in the house. We bought this spray as we have a few gaps where we can spray this up into the ceiling spaces. We have definitely noticed a decrease in activity since using the spray once, we are hoping with using more this will eradicate our problem for good. Just to note as well, we can smell the spray in our home but don’t find this a problem at all as it’s a lovely fresh peppermint smell.

We recently had a rat in our kitchen. It's been underneath a kitchen cabinet that's in a place we can't get to without destroying the cabinet. But we've managed to ward it off using ultrasonics and this spray. Then today, Christmas Day, my missus screamed as she saw a rat in our bathroom. So I went downstairs and brought up this spray AND a kitchen sponge. There's a hold at the bottom of the door frame that leads to below the floorboards. I squired the spray into the hole and then liberally squirted the sponge and blocked up the hole. Less than one hour later, I went into the bathroom, only to find out that the sponge which had been sprayed with this anti-rat peppermint deterrent, had been dragged across the bathroom floor. So it leaves me with this conundrum. If rats and mice are supposed to be afraid of the smell of peppermint, then how the heck did one manage to extract the wedged in sponge and drag it half way across our bathroom floor. And if peppermint is not a deterrent, then what is? There is now a trap in situ with a chocolate as the bait that's been tied to it. So Mr. rat cannot just grab it without setting the trap off. And I don't care if it's Christmas. This rat must die!
