This product was super easy to install. You will love it. Sound improvement is excellent. Cutting with utility knife or scissor allowed for precision sizing. Product stuck very well immediately and was easy to flatten using any flat firm object to fit into all sizes to properly adhere. I was also incredibly impressed by the integrity and helpfulness of the owner who kindly and quickly resolved a unique situation I encountered. The sound of my new speakers is much enhanced and there is zero vibration when I crank up the tunes. The grid measurements on the backing made it simple to cut out equal sections. And for custom spots I simply overlayed the paper side and slowly cut off pieces until I had a perfect fit! Then strip off paper, align and stick. Pull up and adjusts easily if need be. Rub flat and presto your soundproofing is in place. Double layers were no problem either right behind my woofer to ensure proper sound proofing. You will love this product. Can't wait to use it again on my next project.

Good quality stuff it adheres nicely and feels thick and sturdy. Very easy to apply. My issue was when I shut my car door, I could hear this empty metallic hollow sound, like a flimsy metal sound. After installing this product on the inside door panel the sound went away and it now sounds solid. Also helps for insulation and reducing road noise.

Great product and easy to install. Cut with scissors or utility knife, backing paper is checkered to ease layout.

It's essentially tar on foil, but seems to work well. Very sticky but had no issues peel off paper backing. If you're having those issues, you may have old stock or it was smashed in shipment. Having this product alone isn't going to do much for sound dampening but does work as a base material for foam etc.

Mad a huge difference for a decent price, did some audio testing as well as road noise and vibration, pretty good stuff
