Great learning game
Takes a little while to get use to the rules but so much fun once everyone gets into the game. Great learning for children not only for spelling but for science too

Interesting...
A really unique game! Its a simple set up but quite a challenging game. It has the potential to be great but we felt it was missing something. Having said that, we had lots of fun playing it as a family but wouldn't play it with children (and it'll probably sit on a shelf for quite some time before we play it again).

Read the instructions carefully.
We saw this board game when we were Christmas shopping in a well known department store. It was great to get it cheaper, from Amazon. We all like playing Scrabble but this was a much different game. Really quite challenging but huge fun. We payed it after dinner on Christmas Day and thoroughly enjoyed it - once we got to grips with the rules!

Not Frenetic or Frenzied: Sedate and Thoughtful
I must start off by saying I do love this game - as a Scrabble fan, and since I have become obsessed with the periodic table from watching Pointless, this just ticked all the boxes for me.However, I bought it under a few major misunderstandings - the title, and the promise of 'frenzied action' as 'you don't wait your turn, you all play at once!' gave me the impression that this was like Bananagrams - everyone grabbing at tiles to form actual words with the tiles in front of you.Instead, no. A few tiles are revealed at once, laid quietly on the board and everyone sits still and thoughtfully, trying to write words on a pad.The scoring also challenges my appalling mental addition skills.... Scrabble scoring is just about within my comfort zone...We haven't played it loads yet, but I expect as we become more familiar with the letter combinations available and I get used to the mixture of upper and lower case letters, it will become easier and quicker to find words and then perhaps the tempo will increase somewhat.Still love it, though :-)

Difficult to understand
Good concept. Tried playing this with kids but they couldn’t make any words. In the end, we put it away. Hasn’t been taken out since

Great for homeschooling
This board game has been great through lockdown for homeschooling, it combines Science, English and Math lessons all in one! The kids love playing Frenetic, usually alongside a game of elements top trumps!

This is a tricky game to play
I like the idea of this game - making words from Chemical symbols. However as it is easy to get words as the game progresses the first players are at distinct disadvantage. Some of the combinations of letters available are not common in words so it is very difficult to use them. This is not a favourite in my family and we usually enjoy word games.
