Yes I use this on my silk pillow case and delicates in the silk delicate machine wash. I do put delicates in a large laundry bag as well, just to protect them a bit. Has been absolutely fine and smells lovely.

has anybody used this to clean their faux fur

I use Ecover Delicate for cashmere, pure wool & silk with excellent results. Faux fur is a synthetic fibre, so I would presume this would be suitable too. Always wash with COLD water - very important - and very small amount of liquid. Good luck.
