TJUTR Men's Photochromic Sunglasses Polarised Sunglasses for Driving Metal Wrap-around Semi-Rimless Frame with UV400 Protection

I'm buying a second pair as I recently lost the first, which I had for 5 years. I have been extremely happy with them. They greatly reduce glare on my windscreen, and the photo-chromatic aspect means I can use them in both sunny and overcast driving conditions. They are comfortable to wear too. They could possibly wrap around a bit more to account for side light, but I'm not going to remove a star for that because the glare reduction in the centre of my vision is the main benefit for me.

A very comfortable wrap-around style of sunglasses, giving good dust protection (I wear a contact lens) on a gray day these have very little tint, but darken up well in sunlight, and cut out reflected glare. Excellent for cycling but remember they WON'T work in a car as car windscreens cut out UV and it's the increase in UV that triggers the lens to darken. Because of the wrap-around design they are still quite bulky when folded, it's worth have a rigid case large enough to cope with this. They come with a protective bag, lens cleaning cloth, a card to confirm they are polaroid and a UV 'torch' to confirm they are sensitive to UV light (the latter are a nice touch, particularly in view of their modest price) Two nice extra details: the side-arms are sprung and are textured so they don't slip when you get hot and sweaty, again nice touches at such a reasonable price.

The Style of the sunglasses is fantastic . They are very light weight plastic and the nose bit is very soft and comfortable . However the bit that I was disappointed about is they come with a shade on the lenses already , thought they eere going to be clear until i go into the open air / sunlight and then start to go darker depending on the uv ...so I can't wear them at work or on the bus without trying to look like a wannabe young again 🙃 person... a shame but I'll keep them all the same for the days when not in work and it's sunny ...

They are a good fit and very comfy to wear also work for me in bright sunlight

Excellent. comfortable, good fit, good value, good polarising effect and effective polychromic darkening effect. The glasses start as a light shade, so don't impair vision in low light (even indoors) but are still effective in dealing with the glare of bright sunshine. Bear in mind that the darkening effect is triggered by ultra-violet light so it will not work inside a car, where the glass screens out u/v. However, the polarising is still very helpful. (My pair was helpfully supplied with a mini u/v torch to test the lenses, which showed rapid darkening.) So long as you are not looking for something super-dark to hide behind, these are effective, stylish and great value.

The sunglasses are okay, but don’t rely on the photochromic lenses they are very slow to react (if they react at all.

Reasonably comfortable to wear. Polarisation effect ok but little photochromic response as others have noted. The lens tint hardly varies from indoors to strong sunlight outdoors. Not sure about robustness of frame. Overall good value for money but would have liked a proper photochromic response.

Lenses are NOT translucent, I would say in the dark they are about 30?% dark. In other words these are 1-3 category lenses(not 0-3). Sunglasses are kind of heavy. Metalic frame is cold magnet. But they look nice, stylish, polarization is good.
