- About this item The AcalaQuell Mini is more than just a water filter system. It is a complete, yet compact water treatment system. The water preparation follows the principles of nature combined with the results of intensive R&D. The multi-layered filtration ensures the highest water quality. Since no pressure is exerted on the water, it has time to unfold like a good wine. Your drinking water passes through various stages until you have a mild, soft water available. *** No dust, rust and no fine particles can pass by the ceramic pre-filter.The ceramic filter was burnt with a patented process to a highly compressed diametic structure. With a pore size of only 0.1-0.45 microns no bacteria is able to pass through and thus a more effective protection from germs is given. *** In the second step, the water flows through the premium filter cartridge. After purification through a special activated carbon and silver activated charcoal, heavy metals, nitrates, hormones, drug residues and other unwanted substances are removed or reduced by means of ion exchange. (Links to test results in Product description section.) A layer of zeolite removes molecules and tiny components with a strong positive charge. Thus, it acts as ultrafine molecular sieve and catalyst. *** In the 3. step the water flows through a layer of alkaline bioceramic and Calcium ions are discharged into the water. This shifts the pH slightly into the alkaline range. *** Turmalin bioceramic in the 4. step has a catalytic function and so strengthens the energetic properties in the cartridge *** Then the water flows through quartz sand like a brook in nature. The natural fresh and pure taste of the water returns. *** The water is then stored in a crystal glass tank with a capacity of 5 litres. You can add mineral stones into this tank which can make the water taste more aromatic or softer. The mineral stones also enrich the water with essential minerals for the body and also affect the alkalinity. In addition the stones reflect long wave infrared light, which can have a vital influence on us.The result is delicious, soft and wholesome spring water.
