Donโt sleep on this.
First time using this brand of line and no disappointment. Itโs excellent quality, no stretch, color is holding fast with freshwater but haven't used in saltwater, price point is good. Casts smooth and distance depends on skill level.

Excellent fishing line for those that use braid PE line
This line is nice Japanese high quality PE fishing line. It's far superior to monofilament in most cases because it has no stretch, therefore when you're fighting a fish you feel every Shake of the fish. It also helps with hook sets. It casts like a dream, you will definitely get better casting range out of this especially on a spinning reel compared to monofilament or fluorocarbon line. When you use PE braided line you need to learn how to tie a Palomar knot because this line is slippery and a regular Uni Knot will come undone.

Mostly good.
I got the 15lb, got to say this stuff cast a mile ! Now the bad, it's super slick, my go to surgeons knot slips the braid right threw. Had to go a couple extra loops. I'm not getting so much wind knots but the line is so thin and light it wraps around the guides, tips and the rod. I think it did absord some water over the course of fishing and the casting distance diminished a little bit. I am NOT a novice, I fish weekly in a kayak in salt water. I own literally over 80 rods and reels and gave away a bunch. I like the braid, I am going to keep using it. I would suggest you get the 20lb, it will be very thin but less wippy.

Super Thin. Super Smooth. Zero Dye Bleeding.
For an 8 strand braid, this braid is thinner than most braids in the same weight rating. It is also incredibly smooth and quiet going through your guides. However, with any thin braid that is smooth and limp, it is prone to wind knots if you're not careful and don't keep tension in your line at all times when casting in the wind. The best part of this braid is that is does not bleed dye at all. When you are spooling your reel and gripping the braid tight with a wet paper towel, absolutely zero dye comes off onto the paper towel. It also does not bleed any dye while fishing either. You won't even find this is some of the more expensive braids that cost 4-5x as much as this.

Very Slippery.
I ordered this line for a number of reasons. The first and what is probably most obvious is the fact that the line is RED! I've never used red line before and wanted to try it out. The second reason is that the line is braided. Braided line is typically much smaller in diameter that a comparable monofilament line and the braid is much tougher. I'm planning on using this for ice fishing and will be targeting walleye and northern pike. I like the look of the line and the slippery feel of the line. This braid will slide through the eyes of my rod with ease.
