Simple effective well designed eGPU dock
Perfect eGPU dock, attached a modular PSU, it comes with a hangar bracket for the GPU. Paired it with a GMTEC K12 mini PC and Asus TUF 9060xt 16gb and now have a decent performing gaming setup.

Great with mini PC
Works great with Minisforum mini PC. Just don't forget to purchase a power supply separately as rhis doesn't come with a power supply. Also make sure the mini PC supports Occulink.

Great dock. Awesome device for an RTX 3060 & SF750 Corsair PSU.
I am using this dock with a GPU setup. Honestly, it's a great thing for Mini PCs and it support an RTX 3060. I was also very happy to discover that it came supplied with an Oculink cable, which supported my Mini PC just fine. I am using a Mini PC from GMKTek. I was confused at first whether the Oculink of my Mini PC was SFF-8611 or SFF-8612, because it looks similar to SFF-8612. I then discoverered that it is actually an SFF-8611, and that is what the supplied cable was. I loved learning that it was going to work with an SFF-8611. The dock is being powered by a Corsair SF750 and this is the power supply that is more than enough for this dock and my GPU setup. I enjoy using it with my GPU. To find it needs to be powered by a power supply is actually brilliant, because some of the power supplies that come with some docks, usually aren't enough for a GPU of mid-higher end. The speed overall, is great and performance to the GPU is what I expected. It can power an RTX 3060 without a problem, with the right power supply. It works like a charm once you have setup the power supply and the GPU. The dock is placed on my desk, on a shelf which is great for this and just about fits without fan obstruction. The GPU and PSU remain cool, and the dock can also stay quite cool. It was easy to install the GPU to this dock, but you may need to use a bracket for the GPU and power supply to stay still so you don't suddenly have an accident that causes the dock to fall and things get broken with it. The rubber feet underneath it should stop that slipping though. You may still want to use the bracket it came with to keep the GPU and powersupply still. Overall, value for money is amazing. it's something I wanted, and the GPU is really good in this dock.

Solid dock for Mini PCs, Oculink supported laptops – excellent build and performance
The MINISFORUM DEG1 Docking Station with PCIe x16 (PCIe4.0x4), Force Power On, and ATX/SFX PSU support is a fantastic upgrade for anyone with a compact system like a Mini PC. It's a solid piece of hardware through and through, turning your barebones setup into a full-powered workstation or gaming rig effortlessly. Build quality is top-notch — sturdy metal construction that feels premium and durable, with clean cable management and thoughtful port placement. No flex or cheap plastic here; it pairs perfectly with MINISFORUM systems and similar OCuLink/PCIe-enabled minis. Performance delivers — the PCIe4.0x4 interface handles GPUs like the RTX 4060/4070 without throttling, delivering smooth frame rates and stable operation. Force Power On works flawlessly for headless booting, and PSU compatibility (ATX/SFX) gives flexibility for your power needs. Ease of installation and use is a highlight: slide in your Mini PC, connect the PCIe riser, mount your GPU and PSU, and you're ready in under 10 minutes. No drivers, no fiddly tweaks — just plug and play with clear labeling and secure mounting points. Outstanding value for money at this price — you get desktop-class expandability in a compact form factor that rivals much pricier docks. Ideal for Mini PC enthusiasts wanting GPU power without a full tower build. Highly recommended if you're in the MINISFORUM ecosystem.

Works great with my Minisform PC
I use this with my UM890 Pro. One thing I did get when I got this all connected up was a Bitlocker Key request. This is because the hardware had changed. No worries, grabbed this from my Microsoft account, input the key and that was that. Paired this with a fully modular PSU to reduce cable clutter and opted for a 4060ti. All works perfectly and this is a big improvement on the integrated graphics (which to be fair performed admirably). The dock has a bit of weight to it and seems well made. Comes with the OCULINK cable and powers on when I power on my Minisforum PC. Overall very happy with both of my Minisforum products now and will be excited to see what other new products they release in the future.

Mine has a fault but I would still recommend! Amazing product.
First of - when working, I should say this is an absolute stonker of a device, performs well and looks amazing when paired with a good looking modular psu (so you dont have loads of messy cables). Unfortunately, the one I received has a faulty power switch (so cant turn it off without using the switch on the power supply) and occasionally gives off a loud electrical screech (possibly a capacitor) so will have to return it. That said - do not let this put you off - I have just got unlucky and would still recommend getting one!
