comfort, soft, safe
I bought the Loyoda Shower Chair for my mom, and she absolutely loves it! The padded arms and backrest provide incredible comfort, making her showers much more enjoyable. The adjustable height feature is a great touch, allowing us to customize it perfectly for her needs.Safety was a big concern for us, and this chair has been fantastic in that regard—the non-slip feet ensure stability, even in a wet shower environment. My mom feels secure and comfortable, and I have peace of mind knowing she’s safe. If you’re looking for a shower seat for an elder or anyone needing extra support, I highly recommend this chair. It’s well-designed, soft, and worth every penny!

Light, sturdy, and safe
Finally I can have my 98 year old mother come to stay at my house, thanks to this wonderful little aluminum chair with its backrest and padded arms. She is WAY under the 400 pound limit, so I feel certain the chair will be comfortable, safe, and sturdy for her.I tried it in my walk-in shower, and it fits in nicely. Because I don't have a detachable shower head (yet), I had to adjust the direction of the water first to make sure it didn't blast me in the face. It was easy to get in and out of the chair, and the water passed through the holes in the seat and did not accumulate. I wiped it off, rinsed it, and left it dry once I was finished. I'm very pleased. This chair comes unassembled in a small, light weight box, but it comes together nicely in only about 15 or so. You don't need any tools whatsoever--you just turn little "handles" on the screws, which is so much easier than using a screwdriver. The instructions, however, are for a slightly different model, which requires more screws than what are needed for this chair. So don't be concerned when you don't have all the pieces shown in the manual. Many of the pieces are clearly labeled (e.g., D1, D2, etc.), but it's pretty easy to figure out the rest of them. Two areas that gave me a little trouble were the parts that snapped together and Parts H1 and H2, which form a crossbar to secure the bottom of the chair. For the parts that snap together, such as the arms, rather than trying to push down both sides at once, I found it worked better to get one side started and then the other. Once they are about even, you can push down more easily to achieve that snap. For the cross bar pieces, I had a bit of a challenge lining them up so I could screw them into the legs. I had success when I started with one, screwed it in about half way, and then did the same with the leg diagonally across from the first one. It was much easier to then get all four ends to align with the legs and to get the screws into their proper holes. After aligning the cross pieces, I went back and tightened all the screws to ensure a sturdy and safe chair. There is one little grey piece that you can see in the product description photos, but it's never named or described. It attaches to the arm, and I'm assuming it can be used to hold a detachable shower head and sprayer--or to hang other items you might need such as shower gel or shampoo.

Works fine but had issues with assembly
I encountered some manufacturing defects that made assembly more difficult. The plastic fittings in the tubes had excess plastic that prevented the backrest tubes from fitting together. I was able to remove them and scrape the excess off with a knife then replace and assemble, but not an issue that all can safely do. The instructions, as others have noted are mismatched. The screws for the head rest are preinstalled and different than the ones indicated on the book. there is also a center screw hole in the center underside of the chair that is left empty. Id imaging the same mold is used for different product variations, that said it can create some confusion. As for the chair itself, it works well and feels stable. No hardware is required and the feet grip securely. The extra padding are separate pieces, making them optional to apply. This is a good chair that does the job, however, for the price I feel there are better options.

Very Nice Shower Chair for Small Shower!
This arrived in great condition with all parts necessary to put it together. The instructions were good but needed a slight update as the chair and its construction seems to have changed a bit. Specifically, the inventory says 2 small screws, 9 medium screws, and 9 large screws will be necessary. In fact, only 1 small screw, 9 medium screws, and 4 large screws were included or necessary. It becomes obvious as you progress through the instructions and see the differences in structure, so do not be alarmed by the number of screws which appear missing. They aren't. Aside from that glitch, it went together smoothly in about 45 minutes with only a couple of pinches (my own fault, ouch!), so be careful. It's very sturdy, nice looking, and it will probably last a very long time. It has padded handrails and a comfortable silicone seat. The backrest is also comfortable. It's a perfect shower chair, especially for a small shower. I'd highly recommend it!
