Revived my old PSP
The battery works well and breathed new life into my old PSP. Install was pretty straight-forward once I got the housing off. The charging works like the original and the battery life is solid (I honestly don't remember how my old one performed). The fit is nice and doesn't seem to be a problem. It fit just fine into the housing without much issue and has stayed tight since.

Is that your real capcity, or are you just trying to impress me?
I recently brought out my old PSP portable game player. I always loved that little system, and have quite a few games for it. The battery for the system had long since died, and I looked for a replacement. The TAYUZH Battery looked to be a good replacement battery, so I ordered that one. It's compatible with Sony PSP 2000/3000 PSP-S110 Console 2000 PSP-2001, PSP-3000, PSP-3001, PSP-3002 systems. And as one can see from the photos, that despite it being of the same voltage, and having a higher capacity, it's a smaller form factor than the original PSP battery. That created a slight issue when placing the battery into the PSP. Because of the larger form on the higher capacity battery, they included a larger system door. That larger sized door makes the battery less stable inside the system. I did manage to find the smaller door for the system, and that made it for a better fit and kept the battery in place. Now for the heart of this battery review! I have to say that I am not very impressed with the battery so far. I don't know what happend, but when I first installed the battery, it seemed to connect fine and everything powered up. I had to remove the battery for better while I was replacing the battery compartment door, and upon replacing the battery, the terminals did not connect properly, or something, and the system wouldn't turn on. After some time of trying to replace the battery in a manner that seemed to connect the terminal end, I finally got a connection.Since you can only play the PSP if there is a functional battery installed, this was a major issue to me. If the contacts on the battery are that fragile, that would create a big problem for anyone that would even try to play games while the charger is connected. The battery did finally connect, and was able to charge. I did not time the length of battery charge, but did leave it plugged in for almost an entire day. Usually, that does not create any problems being connected for that length of time. It seemed the same for this battery as well..or did it?After knowing that the battery was fully charged and I had played a game for about and two hours, I put system into full shutdown mode. There should be nothing on the cause the battery to drain or be needed. About a week goes by since installing and FULLY CHARGING the battery, I found the system to be dead! I plugged in the charging cable and saw that the charging light was one. GOOD! After about two minutes of charging I tried turning on the PSP, and nothing happened. So I waited about four more minutes. It did turn on, and I saw the little battery icon flashing it was charging. To test the level of "dead" of the battery, I unplugged the cable and the system went off. I had the charger plugged in for about ten minutes at that point. That pretty much showed me that the battery was probably had such a low level of charge in it that just barely maintained the low power memory enough to keep the clock and other system functions working. The battery was charged up to near fifty percent after about an hour of being plugged in, so that does say something positive about the charging time. However, that does not address the possible swift battery drainage issue. I may be spoiled by Sony's original battery, and I know that I can't expect other battery companies to make as high a level of battery as the original company. But really? It can't hold a charge, with the system being fully shut off for about a week and a half? I'm not very thrilled about that. I have left other handheld systems on standby mode for about half the time I left this battery off the charger, while fully shutdown, last longer. This is a product killer for me! It's bad enough that the contacts may be highly delicate enough to not even be able to handle a simple removal and replacing back into the system, but not lasting on a full charge? REALLY?It shows a higher capacity than my original battery, yet doesn't last off charge when shutdown, and I have a feeling that it's not going to last during play time off the charger as well either. I will put it to the test later on when I have more time. At this point, I have to say that I'm not feeling positive about this battery, and I would recommend staying away from this one...unless you're not going to be far away from an electrical outlet. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because of the fact that I can at least play my PSP, while plugged in, with no problems. That at least counts for something in my book. If I could play the PSP without the battery, or if this one fails completely in that area as well, I'd give this battery a one star rating. Look for another battery, that my at least be a bit more closer to the true level of charge capacity, and ability to function well.

3600mAh? lol, no.
I've recently been testing a few different brands of PSP batteries (used and new) to see how they compare with one another. At 3600mAh (advertised), this battery occupied the same space as the original 1200mAh and weight a few grams less. This means it was offering 300% capacity, somehow... So I put it through the same test I ran for another aftermarket, 1200mAh battery (pickle battery), the original 15-ish year old 1200mAh battery from my PSP slim, and an original 18-ish year old 1800mAh battery from my PSP phat. All 4 batteries ran the same test, 100% brightness, 30% volume, running the DBZ Shin Budokai demo mode until the battery would die out.The results were:Pickle battery 1200mAh - 4 hours and 11 minutesOriginal 15 y/o 1200mAh - 4 hours and 28 minutesOriginal 18 y/o 1800mAh - 6 hours and 3 minutes...THIS battery - 1 hour and 33 minutesHard to recommend this battery at all, even if you don't have a working battery, this one performs worse than other aftermarket batteries that are supposedly only 33% of this one's capacity. My recommendation? Stay away from batteries that advertise double, or in this case, triple the capacity while occupying the same space as an original, it's just not true. Pass on this battery and try out a different brand.

New life for my old PSP-3001.
I can verify the battery fits a PSP-3001. The battery arrived with enough of a charge that I could power on my PSP, but the battery indicator showed that the battery was empty. A full charge later, and in total I played for about an hour and drained one bar of battery. Taking that into account, I feel like the battery may not actually be the capacity it advertises.I'm still fairly satisfied with my purchase, although should I ever need another battery, I'll likely buy a brand with more honesty about the capacity.

Works
I can't test the capacity of these, and the battery feels very lightweight for the advertised capacity. But it does work and has held charge for at least a couple hours of use. Used with a 3000 model.Fits perfectly, drops right in. Came charged as well, which is nice. Not much else to say, it's a PSP battery, it works, it takes and holds a charge. In terms of long term reliability, it is impossible to say. But considering my OEM PSP battery blew up (hence the need for this one, mind you the oem is ancient), I can safely say I doubt it'd be much worse haha!I do however really doubt the advertised capacity.

Good battery!
Charges fine so far, can't be programmed like old school "Tool" batteries, but works perfectly as a alternative aftermarket battery to get your PSP to fire back up again! Highly recommended!
