The black variety of Maca is supposedly of particular benefit for men's health and sexual vitality (to coin a phrase) so I guess there's a large potential market for these ALPHA-01 Organic Black Maca capsules. Maca is an interesting supplement, it seems to trade as much on its own mythology as the actual effects, and it's worth remembering it's basically a Peruvian turnip. I've taken it on and off for a couple of years and I think there is a bit of a boost to energy, especially if you take it first thing in the morning. Taken as a loose powder (sprinkled onto your breakfast cereal for example) it seems to be particularly effective. Capsules are a good way to try it if you don't like the nutty flavour of the powder but you may not get all the benefits of the powder, which gives you a natural energy boost from the carb's it contains. These capsules are moderately large and but you only need to take one per day. I don't get any noticeable digestive upset from them and have suffered no ill effects. If you think Maca might work for you then these are a good value way to try, especially if you're male.

it works for regulate female hormones. no hot flashes! this is my first time trying Black Maca, I like it that is organic and very well priced. I always open capsules to add it to my smoothies or chia pudding etc luckily the black pepper does not taste ;)
