Warning. Please Read.
I was disappointed when upon opening this box to find you have to assemble this chair. I don't mean just slide the back on the base, I mean literally taking the wood sections, building both arm sides completely then fighting with all your strength to stretch the fabric over the two arms you just built. There's a reason why they give you thick gloves with your tool kit...the amount of splinters you will get even with the gloves on. This chair would be extremely difficult to be assembled by anyone who has arthritis or other muscle conditions that inhibit full range of use or dexterity. Even after the arms are assembled and placed on the base, the cup holders are a joke. They are two solid plastic cup holders you just shove into a little fabric "pouch" with no support below it so a rip in that area is a given. Not even extra stitching to prevent that. Also, just wait till you have to somehow simultaneously hold the back of the chair with all the vibration motors and heating elements and the firm back piece it's to be mated with, and you have to somehow use a zipper to join them together. Good luck with that part. I am a handy man as they put it since I retired from the automotive industry so I can assure you I know a few things about quality and assembling procedures. I would return this poorly made $300 chair except for the fact it would be a nightmare for me to return by myself. Maybe that's how they know you'll just keep it anyway? So, let me save you the trouble of being in this predicament. DO NOT purchase this chair. Keep looking. In the $300 price range, there are hundreds more.

Great for price- quiet and efficient
Excellent for the price. So reasonable and what we needed after a family member's illness. Used short term. If needed longer we would have gotten something slightly cushier. Complicated and a lot of parts for this already overwhelmed old broad to put together but my 20 something daughter aced it. Quiet operation. We kept it after needed and will use it again or loan out if the occasion arises

It’s okay for a temporary seating solution
This recliner is on the lower side of being mediocre at best. It’s not worth the price at all and I would only recommend this piece of furniture as a temporary fixture. I recently had a spinal fusion, and needed something cheap but decent to help me heal a little better. Pros 1. It lifts forward off the ground so you can easily slide off. 2. It has 2 cup holders that you can remove to wash if needed. 3. The remotes are easy enough to figure out. 4. It’s an okay, temporary seating arrangement for someone who just had surgery. 5. The heating works great. 6. It’s easy to use. Cons: 1. There wasn’t an instruction manual, but Amazon has an assembly video. However, it was difficult to assemble. 2. One of the two wooden bases for this recliner was busted, but still questionably usable. 3. In order to get some of the hardware to fit, my husband had to carve into a significant amount of the one busted, wooden base. 4. It’s not very sturdy, so make sure you build it where it’s going to stay. 5. This is not a long term use recliner, I suspect that it’ll last maybe a couple of months with heavy- moderate use. 6. There are a lot of wires. A LOT. 7. It comes with 2 remotes that are wired to the recliner, but it does have a pouch on the side to store them. 8. I’d hardly call it a massager; it just vibrates. 9. Vibrations being said, it’s LOUD. 10. The cushioning is very cheaply made. It’s fluffy, but it squishes down when you sit on it and can feel the bones of the recliner. 11. I do not think this would be very comfortable for someone who considers themself bigger than most. I’m 5’4” and weigh 127lbs and I fit perfectly in it; both width-wise on the seat and length-wise with it leaned back as far as it can go. Would I recommend it? Yes, but ONLY as a temporary seating solution. It does get the job done, all cons considering. I gave it 3 stars for this reason, otherwise I’d rate it 2 stars. I DO NOT recommend it for long term use.

Decent price for a decent chair
For the price it’s great. Not the most comfortable to sleep in as the back board and bottom board are a little hard. It served its purpose for surgery recovery but I wouldn’t want it for long term. It was cheaper to buy it as opposed to renting one so overall it was worth it
