What's inside the bag, and how is it made?

Unicorn 3mil polypropylene bags, packed in-house. Inside is sterilized milo grain over coco coir, coarse vermiculite, gypsum and azomite at field capacity. The 0.5 micron filter breathes better than a standard 0.2 — fruit without cutting.

Are spores or liquid cultures included with this kit?

No — spores and liquid cultures are not included. We focus on a clean, ready-to-go grow bag: you bring the culture, and we'll do the rest.

What kind of mushrooms can I grow in this all-in-one bag?

Sterilized milo grain over a CVG substrate — coco coir, coarse vermiculite, gypsum. It supports a wide range of genetics; you supply the culture. Not for wood-lovers like shiitake, lion's mane or reishi — those need our Master's Mix.

How much yield can I expect from one bag?

Yields scale with bag size and conditions. Most growers report 1–3 flushes per bag, with larger sizes producing proportionally more. Patience and steady humidity matter — rushing the fruiting stage is the top cause of a poor first harvest.

What if my bag doesn't colonize?

Every bag is guaranteed — message us through Amazon with a photo and we'll make it right. Colonization issues usually trace to culture viability: syringes shipped without insulation arrive heat-stressed or frozen, visible only after inoculation.
