My autistic 7yr old son loves this thing! He always gets in the boat they have at therapy and so I decided to find one for home! Best decision ever! It helps him regulate when he is overwhelmed and he enjoys just sitting in it with his blanket and tablet! Highly recommend!!

I got this for my niece as she is autistic and has some sensory issues. It's really nice size for her to fit nicely in. It's a super vibrant color, I like that it has handles for her to be able to play around with and she holds on to to get in and out of it. She will lay in this thing for hours if she could. It's been super durable so far and she always plays in it after school so it's lasted a while already. Seems to be pretty comfortable for her to sit in. I think the best part is that it comes with a pump and everything unlike those ones that you have to try and spin around or run around to get air into it with, definitely makes it so much easier and quicker. Very easy to put up and take down and put away for storage doesn't take up much room at all

The chairs are awesome. They are soft to the touch and hold their air. They were easy to fill up with the pump that came it.

I've now gotten several inflatable furniture items from this brand, and they all seem to be kid-favorites. This peapod chair is super cute and is the most compact, and provides a cozy, semi-private place for kids to read and also to just rest or lie down. I plan to gift this to a family with young children, along with a few books that they can snuggle up with. Like the other toggloo inflatables I've gotten, this comes with a small electric pump, which works decently well (and has several adapters, so can be used with other inflatables). There are three different air pockets that you need to pump (bottom and two sides); I found it easiest to pump the bottom first. The chair takes almost no time to inflate and deflate, and takes up little space when deflated. This makes it fairly portable; if your child gets attached to it, you can take it with you in your car for a road trip or pack it away in your luggage (though it's heavier than its folded-up volume might suggest). It's also nice to have on hand for visiting kids or as extra seating for playmates, even if you don't have it out all the time. The material is a medium weight pvc-type plastic, with a soft velvety surface. With hindsight, I should have gotten a color other than black; I think kids generally prefer something more colorful. I can't speak to longevity yet, but I don't expect this to last forever, as I wouldn't with any plastic inflatable. The instructions could be better. Make sure you pick the right adapter for the pump. It helps to take a few minutes to ensure the adapter is connected properly to the valve and not to rush it; the pumping itself takes almost no time. This is a nice deal at the current price of $39.99, marked down from the list price of $49.99. The list price is also fair, but I wouldn't pay much more than that.
