This ramp is great for getting my 11 year old Springer/Collie dog into the boot of my car. She's got an arthritic back leg so I drive her to flat areas now and it's made a load of difference. She can enjoy the walk. I read some of the reviews and one said it broke after a little use, I don't know how that must of occurred as my dog is a bit of a chunky furry girl. It's used 4 times a day at least, so multiply that by getting her in and out of the boot it is constantly used. It could be used in places other than the car - maybe getting in and out of your house if there are steps to the garden/outside. I would not leave it outside if it is raining or a damp atmosphere as I'm not sure if the rough sandy strip would be compromised. I think the manufacturer would not be selling this ramp if not fit for purpose. The strip is stuck down very securely so it would have to be constantly getting wet through, I'm guessing. In the meantime when we've been walking in the rain and she's using the ramp there's no issue at all. The strip dries wet doggy paws easily itself in minutes. The hinges are sturdy and the plastic is light but rigid. I fold it and put it in the car itself or the boot. For health and safety, plus common sense, I wouldn't expect anything other than a dog to use it, not a child or an adult. Personally, I would definitely recommend this ramp. Thank you to the person for inventing this ramp! My dog is a happy dog.

Very well made ramp, feels nice and sturdy. The ramp surface itself is incredibly rough sand paper, you couldn't have a dog walk straight on it in my opinion. We put a blanket over it and let him walk on that. That's the obly problem we have with it. It folds down fairly compact and isn't too heavy for one person to maneuver. Great for us as our dog has gotten older and it's able to jump in and out of the boot on his own.

I spent a lot of time being confused by ‘this’ Best Buy and ‘that’ Most Recommended and in the end just guessed at this. Simply put its very light and really sturdy. If you can fit it and your dog in the boot at the same time then just buy it and stop wasting your time.

My dog can more easily get into the car. The ramp is sturdy but quite large and heavy. If you want to keep it in the car with you it takes up a lot of space. The surface has a coating a bit like sandpaper but my dog sometimes still stuggles to get traction.

The ramp is very sturdy with excellent grip for my dogs. When it's folded for storage it's not too big & it is quite light to handle. Both my dogs used the ramp straight away & it makes life a breeze getting them in & out of my van. For the money I think it is very good value & I would highly recommend this product for anybody looking for a ramp for their dogs.

Our two black labs are now 12 years old and finding it difficult to jump into boot of our estate car; we also found them too heavy to lift! This ramp has made it much easier for them to get back up after their walks. Initially we had to coax them up with a dog treat in hand but after a couple of weeks they manage with no effort at all. The ramp itself is a little cumbersome to fold and unfold and we find it a bit heavy but we are in our 80's and younger users would have no trouble we imagine. A worthwhile purchase.

Item come broken. Now have to send back. Just annoying. Item is good and strong for larger dogs but would cut hand on broken plastic so sending back.

My husband bought a huge metal dog ramp which I couldn’t use or lift because it was so heavy,so I couldn’t use the car he bought me . He then bought me my dream car and this time I chose the ramp and it’s brilliant! I can easily lift it with one hand and it fits the car . It’s not big but it’s sturdy enough for my two Labradors , one weighs 40 kgs . If you’ve struggled before just get this ramp, it’s amazing!
