Liked the size. However the person who designed the base must have gone imperial instead of metric that day. So unstable its comical. Will be making my own base that actually works with the laws of physics. Come on people, longer base for bigger fan. Two stars for size and delivery. Don't know where the rest of your customers live and work, but it's certainly not Earth, really disappointed. Luckily I have a 6 inch fan bought from a German manufacturer that's been upright for over 2 years.Update: I blue tacked the fan to the kitchen work top and plugged it into a USB power source. I tried the switch and no joy. I tried a different socket, still nothing. After that I took the fan, the packaging and deposited them where they truly belonged. I glad I got this at a greatly reduced price as I feel I have lost nothing. A litany of faults, really should have sent this back, but what's the point? Down to one star and certain this review will not see the light of day. I am so unlucky it's unreal.

I had purchased USB fans before and was incredibly disappointed by all of them. They were all too weak and far too small to be of any real use. This, however, is entirely different. It's big enough and powerful enough to provide a moderately strong breeze, yet small enough that I was able to take it to France with me in a Ryanair size cabin bag! It isn't particularly loud either... not silent by any means, but unobtrusive enough that you could talk over it.Just for reference, it does not appear to need more than 5v 1A to function at full performance. I have tried this in a few computers, along with a 5w Apple plug and the higher 12w one. The airflow didn't change on any of them.

Really impressed by this. Most USB powered fans are small and underpowered for the job, making a lot of noise in the process. This one is the largest I've seen and does a solid job of keeping me cool when sat at my desk at work. So long as you've got space to put it (as it is larger than most), you can't go wrong with this in the heat of the summer.One thing to note is that the little plastic feet can become detached and easily lost if you move it around a lot. Be sure to keep an eye on them, as it doesn't stand up quite as well without them.

This is a large and powerful USB fan that provides plenty of breeze. It is either on or off and although it is not silent, it is not an annoying sound or even particularly loud. When on the desk it is about 10 inches tall and 9 inches wide. Great fan for the price.

Whilst the airflow of thhis usb fan is relatively strong, whoever was in charge of the design of the fans base can't be of a homo-sapien species. The balance of this fan is abysmal, a recurring tipping over of this fan has led me to believe that this fan was indeed designed by a baboon!

I'll be honest, I didn't expect much when I ordered this fan. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of it and how powerful it is.
