This is very powerful once my dog got used to it, he didn't like it near his face but just used it at a difference , dries dog much quicker so overall very good .

There are so many of these on the market, but you can soon start to recognise the various 'brands' that are available. I wanted this one because of the adjustable wind speed & heat. Plus this design looked pretty sturdy in the pictures. It arrived very quickly and was also really well packaged in a sturdy box with polystyrene inserts to hold everything safe. The unit itself seems well made and fairly robust. The hose has a quality feel, but the nozzles are fairly lightweight plastic. I don't think they'd survive being trodden on.I bought this because I have an air-cooled motorbike that is a pain to dry properly, especially in the winter where it needs a wash after every ride to keep the tin-worms at bay. I decided to take a risk on a cheaper 'pet' dryer rather than more expensive models for vehicle use. I have only used it once so far but it has made drying the bike out much easier, especially around the engine fins. The adjustable air flow and heat are really handy.The unit itself is surprisingly quiet in operation, but once you fit the nozzles the air flow can get very noisy. It is particularly loud blowing over the cooling fins on the bike. The cable is a reasonable length. Amusingly, as the air flow increases, the hose stretches on its own - this is handy as you don't have to pull hard against the unit to stretch the hose out.So first impressions are good. I'll only be using it for bike-drying, so it won't be used every week. I will updated the review if there are any faults. I've no idea how often the sponge filter would need to be replaced - I've not seen any for sale as spares - I assume they are available somewhere. It does come with one extra spare one however. Might be more of an issue if you're actually drying pets and there's a lot of hair flying about.**edit** after over a year it is still going strong - definitely a good purchase that does exactly what I wanted. I note however that Amazon has done that EXTREMELY unhelpful thing it does whereby it lumps together reviews of similar items. So if you're reading this wondering why the model you're looking at is pink or doesn't have the extra features... that'll be why.

Powerfull compact dryer. Adjustable speed and temp. A little loud when on full power but does the job well.

This dryer certainly does what it's meant to do, dries our Springer spaniel in no time. Being a working gundog she gets filthy day in day out so this makes life easier for sure.It has multiple heat settings and low/high blow but also has a dial labelled "wind control" that doesn't seem to do anything? The heat isn't aggressive and or dog is perfectly happy with it.I also use this to dry my motorcycles after washing so it's dual use and does a brilliant job.Now, the criticisms. This thing is made of pure Chinesium and suffered major shipping containeritis. It really is quite janky and cheap feeling and there were a lot of loose screes and bolts that required tightening up before use. If you are a dog groomer, do not buy this I guarantee it will not stand up to 'industrial' use. Invest in a branded piece of equipment for your business, this is just a light use tool.As you would expect, the filter gets clogged up VERY quickly so you need to clean it after every couple of uses. They do provide a spare filter but it would be easy to cut a piece of filter to fit it needs be.All in all, cheap and cheerful and so long as you don't expect the world of it then if day this is pretty good value for money.

The media could not be loaded.  This is the sort of mess my dog gets in... after a quick hose down he enjoys getting a proper dry... before he does it all again the following day. Product is very powerful... has different nozzles but I have one I prefer... not too hot and comes with long hose which is great for my big dog... drys him in minutes and reduces the damp dog smells. Product was recommended by my dog groomer and I wouldn't be without it now.

Great so far. Of course it takes a while for the dog to get used to it as it's more of a reverse vacuum cleaner effect, rather than a mild hairdryer. I found doing small micro, micro 'sessions' with treats and praise, rather than a baptism by fire method worked best and the dog has got used to it over time.I find if you use one of the hose attachments provided, the air blasting out is then even more uber concentrated. I found the dog got used the the dryer faster by just having the hose end open with no attachment on itDries the dog FAR faster than a normal hairdryer. A bit of variation with speed settings and temperature settings. At least on the one I got anyway.So long as it lasts a while, I'd give it 5 stars.

This is a well made tool that does what it says it will do. We bought this to dry our GSD, as if he can find water he has to be in it. Usually the dirtier the better. So once a dog gets used to it (start on the low setting until the dog is comfortable with it.)This is just great for drying wet, muddy dogs. It does a great job and dries very well and is powerful enough to blow mud away too.I have also used it to dry pet cages after washing, dry the car after washing and even soaking wet fishing gear after they were soaked during a rain storm. All in all a very versatile tool that I would thoroughly recommend
