Great Paw Triple Support Orthopedic Dog Bed, Medium

I purchased this bed for my 90lb greyhound, after going through a multiple of those cheap ones from stores that would just flatten out in a week. This one was the thickest (6") I could find after much research, for the price. It took a couple days to process then was delivered in one day, which was nice. He is currently passed out on it and seems to love it very much. It is more firm that I thought it would be - I made the mistake of jumping on it myself when it arrived and almost broke my back! But once you put weight on it it slowly sinks in and becomes soft. Perfect for his boney limbs - he is a pretty big boy and he is stretched out and fits on top of it perfectly (I bought the large size). The only downfall I didn't realize in my search for plushness, was that having a 6 inch high bed, doesn't really let him dangle off of it like he normally does, it's just too tall! But he now lays down and doesn't do the nesting digging, he doesn't circle endlessly trying to find a comfy spot. He steps on and down he goes and he is out in seconds. Hopefully this bed lasts a long time - but if I get one year out of it, I will be happy!**UPDATE** it is now about two months after I purchased this bed - and it is already starting to go flat in the middle. There is a big dip where my dog sleeps on it. It may not be falling apart, but it is not holding it's shape like I had hoped.*UPDATE** it is now one year later, and it is flat as a pancake, there is a huge hole that my dog happily digs stuffing out of, but no matter which bed I attempt to replace it with, he will not lay on them - he will either stand endlessly or lay on the floor until I put this old thing back down. Didn't hold up - looks horrendous - but Henry VIII will not accept any replacement... does that make it worth the money??? :)

This product is NOT a over $100 worth. This is made of the most cheapest materials- if anyone buys this material, look at the inside of bed. 3 lays of the cheapest SPONGES (foams) you can find and I am not sure they used new materials--It is ahhhe a kind yellowish (?) or the SPONES were sitting outside long time...Anyway. Construction: After I spent 6 hours in a sewing class for hobby, and I realized this is not for me. The way this bed cover is made by someone who just learn how to use sewing machine. There IS NOT one straight line. Finally, this bed came in rainy day. I opened the box.. WOW, a clear GARBAGE BAG barely cover the bed FOR OVER $100 D. product. This cannot be happen if this is a human product. THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH ABOUT $30- 40 WORTH. For the money, it is not worth.

I recently ordered this bed for my 5 year old 75 lb golden retriever mix, who has arthritis and hip dysplasia. He sleeps on it all the time now and I'm so happy he finally has the support for his sensitive joints. I did a lot of research when I was looking for the perfect bed for his condition because if I was going to spend this much-it had to have everything! This bed was the only one I found that was this thick and had memory foam plus other orthopedic beds (not even with memory foam) that were the same size were at least $200. I can't speak for it's longevity because we've only had it for a month or so but so far it's seems like a great deal!

With a top layer of memory foam, this is a wonderful bed for your dog. It has the feel of the memory foam bedding available for us humans. The removable cover is soft and inviting and washable, too. Though a little pricey, this bed should last (i.e. not flatten) much longer than the previous "egg crate" foam beds I have tried in the past.
