Medicated Dandruff Shampoo with 3% Salicylic Acid & 1.5% Sulfur - Select Formula - Flake & Itch Control - 8 Fl Oz

This has worked well for dandruff itch control. It does only need to be used a few times per week, from my experience. Compared to the full spectrum shampoo, the smell is barely perceptible. I use different conditioners, not always the same one, but I do sometimes use Yes To Tea Tree conditoner, sometimes the MG17 psoriasis control conditioner, and sometimes a pyrothizone zinc shampoo (like Dove). When I use the Berk's full spectrum dandruff shampoo (which I alternate with this one), I follow it up with a Head and Shoulders 2 in one shampoo and conditioner to help with the smell of that one, but this one does not need that. Combined with those conditioners, my hair turns out fine, looks healthier, and, most importantly, the itch and flaking go away. So, for me, this shampoo is effective. I am still in an experimental phase as far as finding the right combination of shampoo and conditioner, but since it seems I develop a tolerance to products, I'll probably keep switching up. This one is very effective in my opinion, and without the coal tar scent of Full Spectrum Dandruff Shampoo, and for me, I don't notice a major difference in dandruff control when comparing the two, so I like this one better due to the lack of strong scent.

I have been using this every other day for a couple weeks and is is working well for my scalp rash. The first 3 times I shampooed it in to my hair and scalp, left it in for 30 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Good stuff and only takes a couple small drops.

After dealing with dandruff for a lifetime it was amazing to find an effective unscented dandruff shampoo. I highly recommend this for anyone who has been struggling with dandruff. I will be ordering this again!

This shampoo states that it has a minimal scent, and actually, I was surprised, but it is pretty mild as compared to my other dandruff shampoo. It has kind of an industrial scent, not at all flowery or fresh, and you can faintly detect an undertone of sulfur. By the time I rinsed it away, I didn't really notice any scent. I added a conditioner after rinsing, and I couldn't detect that smell at all after that. The consistency of the shampoo is thin, like a thin liquid soap, and the lather is pretty thin and not creamy. The shampoo strips away all of the product buildup in my hair, which was a nice side effect, but it is quite drying on my skin. I did find that it helps to loosen the dandruff that's built up on your scalp. After using it just a couple of times, I found that it's really effective at lessening my dandruff. At this point, I will probably cut down to only using it once every two or three weeks or so.

Great stuff that has kept my head clear & clean. It isn't overpowering on scent, as promised. It is a bit much on price for the size, but if you have a problem you have been unable to treat, it's worth giving it a try.

I unfortunately have dandruff and dry scalp so I am always looking for products that meets both of those needs. This brand has honestly been great for me. The smell is a bit stronger than I'd normally like but you can literally feel the shampoo working after application. It makes my hair feel so clean and helps get rid of the buildup and flakes. Works better than some of the more expensive brands and helps control the itchiness. Great value for your money!

This has got to be the best dandruff shampoo I've ever used. I've never used a shampoo with sulfur before and initially I was a little hesitant. The bottle has some warnings on it about sensitivity and when I did a little research I found a lot of conflicting information. One article says it the best thing for healthy strong hair and helps with growth while another states that it can cause dry brittle hair that's prone to breakage. It sounds to me like moderation is the key and I always use dandruff shampoo this time of year as a preventative measure so once every other week or so as needed shouldn't be a concern. I initially used this twice in a row and my scalp and hair feel amazing. If you're looking for a good dandruff shampoo I highly recommend this one. Just make sure you follow the recommendations.
