This was my first time reading a book on Ikigai and I made a fantastic choice because Anthony Raymond gives you so much more than Ikigai philosophy in this book. He blends 4 Japanese and Chinese philosophies together to construct a powerful self-development framework that we can utilise in daily life. I canโt wait to start implementing these tools. Iโm very grateful for the wisdom contained in this book. Happy reading.

This review is from my husband, for whom I bought the book and who has some experience with Ikigai as an educator and trainer in resilience: "Although I'm familiar with the concepts in the book, it would have been helpful to understand why the four concepts are something I need to know and practice. The "why" is missing. It's really important to cite sources. However, the book is a compilation of other people's work - not the author's. Is the author an expert on Ikigai, et al, or providing a summary of other's expertise? One positive feedback: the pictures are helpful and effective in relaying the covered topics."
