NECA - Gremlins Mogwai - Gizmo 6" Soft Plush

I love him so much. I painted his lil nails black so we can match. He's a bit smaller than I expected and a Lil bit expensive for his size but I say he's Worth it. He's so tiny but on the bright side, I can carry him with me anywhere I go. Do recommend.

It’s so CUTE! Perfect condition and the packaging was above and beyond! They took really good care in packing it, it wasn’t just tossed in a box- I am so appreciative of that! Will definitely purchase from this seller again, and the Gremlin…Gizmo…cute and perfect- got it for my dad for Father’s Day lol as a reminder that his kids and grandkids are this little guy and not the gremlins that ate after midnight lol iykyk haha!

As a long-time fan of Gremlins, I'm always on the look out for good Gremlins merchandise. NECA makes excellent quality action figures, so I was interested to see what they came up with as far as a plushie goes. I'm pleased with it, myself, but my only interest in it was to be displayed on a shelf. It should be pointed out that this product simply isn't very "cuddly" and should not be given to a child for use as a teddy bear. I will elaborate. To begin with, the most obvious problem is the ears, which are large and made of a fairly hard rubber. I don't think that these would be very comfortable to someone trying to have it in bed with them at night, nor would they likely hold up if one were to lay on them. The hands and feet are made of this same material. Additionally, there are spots of glue in various places on the toy. These are not very noticeable if you are simply looking at it from a distance, but while holding it they would be quite apparent. Finally, Gizmo's bottom is made to be somewhat flat, with his legs/feet sewn to the front of the toy. This makes him great to be sat on a shelf, but not so good as a toy. I would recommend this toy primarily for adult collectors who are looking for a reasonably accurate Gizmo plush. He does look quite a bit like the Gizmo from the movie, and I'm happy to have him on my desk.

I was kind of worried after I bought this and then read the reviews about feet glued on, falling off, etc. However, when I got him I was pleasantly surprised. He is super cute, looks very realistic, especially his eyes. Yes, the feet are glued on, but they're sturdy, so far he has endured a lot of abuse from my 3 year old (who is completely obsessed with him) and he has held up very well! He's not top quality, but he is what you would expect from $13. Definitely worth it if you're a Gremlins fan!

Though cute as a button, overall, this Gizmo doll is a bit of a disappointment. When I first opened the package, I was surprised at how shockingly small it was. The doll is no where near six inches, maybe between 4-5 at the max and pretty much fits in the cradle of an adult- sized hand. Though described as "plush," there is barely any stuffing in it, and seems only held together by the outside skin. As a result, I don't think this doll is ideal for playing if you intend to get it for a child. Mine is going straight to display since I'm concerned that it will rip if I handle it too much. For under $15, this is a decent bargain, yet had I known just how small and fragile it appears, I would have paid a little extra for the 10 inch plush Gizmo that's also being sold on Amazon.

Very cute gizmo plush I didn’t expect his ears and hands to be hard along with his feet but I’m not mad about it it makes him look more structurally sound and almost makes him look more realistic he is very cute overall I’m very happy with my purchase

I didn't do my due diligence before buying this. I normally read reviews. My wife said she wanted this one so I ordered it. This doll is not well made at all. You can just look at it and see that it will fall apart. I got 2, one for each kid. Within 3 minutes, a foot fell off of one of the dolls. You can see that all of the hard plastic pieces are simply glued into holes in the furry part. The glue used is not good, and it is all over the place. You can see the glue on the fur around the pieces. This looks like a craft that a 10 year old put together. Like if you bought a kit and it came with the pieces and you glued it together. Not only that, the thing is not soft. The head is hard. Feels like a baby doll head with fur stuck to it. Also, we got 2 like I said and they are different. The plastic parts are not even the same color. Not even close. I can only recommend this doll if you think it's cute and want to stick it on the shelf. Do not buy it for children, especially small children. This thing cannot be played with at all. It is likely to fall apart just by moving it from one shelf to another. The shipping and packaging was fine.

Such a cute gizmo plush! Great for anyone who collects horror / gremlins items! He sits wherever you set him down I love it. But I keep reading all these reviews of peoples daughters breaking it? WELL IT'S A COLLECTABLE! NOT A TOY FOR KIDS TO PLAY WITH! It's not "cuddly and soft".

First off this thing is tiny, some images show it as 6 inches and others 8 so I wasn't expecting it to be huge but in a seated position its barely 5. Secondly the build quality is awful, glue visible in places, the plastic hands are glued to the fabric rather than attached, the fur is patchy in spots and seams are visible. Lastly and most annoyingly the head is rock hard, not really a plushie at all and certainly not comfortable to cuddle. For the price I feel a bit cheated, I guess its saved by still being adorable but I certainly feel misled and wish I had read further reviews..
