It’s gel like. Mostly used on air seals which need some tackyness to stay on the seal.

hi, is this the same as super lube® multi-purpose synthetic grease with syncolon® (ptfe) to protect the sd card in my outdoor netatmo camera?

Sorry, I can’t answer that I used it to lubricate some gears on a 1/6 scale model. We’ve recently moved and all my hobby equipment is still packed away in boxes so I can’t even check the tube.

Without knowing what plastics are in your joystick You can't be certain but it is very likely it will be fine.
