Very impressed with how well this saw extension works. It does an amazing job of cutting through things up to +4” in diameter. Chain has maintained the sharpness.

Bought this to cut limbs on our many oak trees. We have STIHL commercial chainsaws so installing the bar and chain was normal. The EGO pole saw is much easier to use than a manual saw and can cut larger limbs that would be next to impossible to cut by hand. Cut a 12” limb, a 6” limb and two 3” limbs. Used a 2.5amp battery and then put in the cultivator attachment to do more work. Still only used two bars of battery power with both. Impressive. Ordered the 31” extension after not being able to reach several more limbs. It is a workout to cut larger limbs but much safer than trying to use regular chainsaw on a ladder. Saw cuts good. Need to use oil and tighten the chainsaw before next cut (every time). Ordered a flat bade screw driver with almost 12” of shank (they provide an Allen wrench/ flat screw driver that fits on the shaft of the saw for chain adjustment). Very happy with the ease of use of this saw. Have the saw attachment in a vertical holder and will see if it leaks oil. Recommend this saw.

I have used my pole trimmer to maintain palm trees and cedar trees. It works well, and I found the addition of an extension shaft adds to usefulness of the saw. The auto.atic oiler works well, and the cut is smooth and even. The power is acceptable and blade resharpening is very easy.
