The product came and looks good quality but it is too bulky for our door so it wouldn't shut completely. Ended up, I got the metal ones from Walmart and those fits better.

Probably good for ween-agers... They're a bit big and take up too much valuable space, but you can use them for a lot of things.

I bought it thinking it is a painted metal but it is made of Plastic. Quality is ok.

These are fairly standard hooks, but they're solid and have held up well. The best thing we use one of them for is to hold potty seats on the side of the toilet tank. We have one for home and one for preschool. It can hold both of these seats equally well:  Nuby Toilet Trainer Seat, Colors May Vary  & The First Years Disney Pixar Cars Soft Potty Seat, Colors May Vary . Just lift up the tank lid, put the hook on the side, then you have a spot for the seat to dry. This way it's also easy for the potty trainee to put on the toilet him/herself.

I was excited to get my hooks in the mail, they were going to be in our baby's nursery to organize diaper bags, but they are so stinkin thick! Not only do they not fit on her doors, but not any door in my house!! My husband said we'd have to shave down a quarter inch of door for them to fit...no thanks!

These really are quite nice.Yes, made of plastic, which is not really a negative. The plastic gives them a little flex so you have some latitude in what size door they will fit. Fits a standard thickness closet door fine.The design sort of clamps the hanger in place. Combined with that piece on the hook side, once you have positioned the hanger it doesn't slide around.Strong enough to support almost anything you could put on a hanger this size.

These were too narrow to fit over the door. They are cute, but they don't do the job they are supposed to!

These over-the-door hooks do just what they need to. They fit snugly over my standard size closet door without scratching the paint (a problem I've had with metal hooks), and they can hold my giant bath robe off the floor without bending. Easy to put on the door, easy to pull off, no trouble here. I chose them for the size and material, not the color, but I guess they're pretty cute too.
