This is my second unit from this company, and the only reason I replaced the original unit is because my wife broke the locking tab on the lid. I superglued it for another 6 months of life, but it finally broke again. I'm actually happy that my wife broke the last unit. I've had many vac sealers over the last 30 years, and this new unit is the best machine I have ever used! This now has a setting for vacuum sealing liquids. This has always been the biggest struggle when sealing anything with juice or liquids the seal will fail because of to much vacuum during the sealing process. I'm thinking about putting another one of these in storage, because they're so good and I know that they never last forever. This unit is less than half the cost of many of my past units, and it also lasted longer than most of the more expensive units.

I was going to purchase another FoodSaver as soon as they came out with a smaller model as I have no room for it in my kitchen and it’s hard to store. I came across this Inkbird by accident and it made perfect sense to try it. The reviews were great, there was a video showing how it works and it’s compact. I received it in a couple of days and tried it. Works as good, if not better than my Foodsaver. It fits in my drawer and now I have easy access and will use it more. I like that it has a cutter for the rolls and when you seal the end, you can seal almost to the end of the bag which means you have less waste and you get more out of your roll. It does not have storage space for the rolls, but I keep my rolls in a box as I usually have several on hand at all times and they’re in a box anyway so I don’t need the storage in the unit itself. Really, really pleased with this unit and the price was a third of what you’d pay for a Foodsaver on sale in the big box store. This purchase was a no-brainer!!! Don’t hesitate to get one of these.

Works great for dry/wet goods ( occasional mis on seal swipe, just do seal only again )

This one is very user friendly. The seal is adequate and the roll can be stored. Pay attention when using the built-in cutter to slide it completely. This is my first vacuum sealer and I think it will be it for a while because it seems to have a durable construction.

My husband ordered this as a mother's day gift. I've had it for about 6 months. Went to use it today to vacuum seal some food that was going to be used as Christmas gifts in a few days & it sounded weird. It wasn't as loud as normal & didn't seem to be sucking with as much power. Then it wouldn't even seal the bag. It seems like maybe the motor has gone out. I expected it to last longer than 6 months. Just spend the extra money & buy a better brand

This sealer is very high quality, the packaging was very good so no damage in shipping. The unit comes with a roll of vacuum bags, spare seal end heat strip! To total bonus! A few vacuum bags pre cut, and the accessories for sealing food in canisters. The sealer has a built in cutter so you can easily cut the material to length. I sealed 30lbs of ground beef and a large roast for sous vide. The unit functioned flawlessly.

Very happy with the vacuum sealer. I am able to cook ahead and freeze large amounts of food. Works great!! Removes the air to stop spoilage. I have used it for 3 months and does exactly what i needed. Easy to use and the vacuum pump is strong for its size.

When it was new it worked well and was easy to operate. 5 months later it no longer worked in the auto vac/seal function. It never stopped and sealed. We replaced the foam gaskets and checked the functioning of the pump. Still not remedied. I guess you get what you pay for. I don’t recommend.
