designed for lazy people
I always forget to water the flowers and trees at home. Since I have the plant waterer spikes devices system, I just need to full a bottle of water about three or four days, and it also not spill water everywhere. It really smart design, specially designed for lazy people, very happy to buy them.

Tricky to make holes
It is not a good product. I wish they did holes themselves. It is hard to make them. And you have to make sure your pin is very thin. I possibly had it too thick. Water is running out within seconds and plant stands in water. I can't even return as I made holes, right? Really bad product unless you are master DIY and can make perfect holes, perfect size.

Plastic too tough to make holes. Doesn’t fit majority of bottles and well over priced. Waste of money!

They work great as long as the plant isn't root bound. There needs to be soil around the spike or the water just keeps running out.

Item works great.
I'm unable sometimes to water my outside plants daily and these spikes have been a boon. Love the way they work with ordinary bottles I was going to throw into the trash. The fewer plastic bottles I put in the landfill, the better I likeit.
