First of all, these aren't totally open, they're the kind of sandals which enclose the outside edge of the foot. That's both good and bad- it's a bit more protection if you're wearing them somewhere that needs a bit more protection, but it obviously leaves more areas to get sweaty in really hot weather.Like all sandals of these sort, they feel strange and uncomfortable at first, until you get the straps adjusted correctly. I always forget and am always a bit grumpy. The same happened here, but once I adjusted the ankle to be a bit more snug and left the toe end a bit looser, and got all the straps lying nice and flat, all fit issues went away. They seemed to fit relatively true to size- length was sensible and I didn't feel like they were painfully narrow or wide like boats.The construction of the sole and insole unit is very pleasant. There's a slight heel drop and some padding, as well as a fairly grippy aggressive sole, but not so aggressive that I worry about using them in paved areas. I can't comment on long-term durability as I've only had them a week or so. If you're looking for a barefoot feel, however, look elsewhere.I can't claim that the ventilation magically improves foot comfort, but so far it hasn't caused me a problem.In summary, these seem to be well-made and practical sandals. They're not as light or airy as the very minimal Ecco Biome sandals that they're replacing (reluctantly, after years of use), but they feel comfortable and sturd and don't look too obviously dorky. The price from Amazon compared very favourably with the manufacturer's site, too- so that's nice.

Very comfortable to wear, easy to adjust Velcro straps and a decent thick sole, already walked many miles in them, all in all a good product.

Geox Men's Uomo Sandal Strada DExcellent sandals in any respect, good discount, very pretty, good grip, just get half size smaller than your regular walking shoes. The provided size chart is quite accurate in relating the foot measurements to the size number - have a look and use a ruler!The sandal has soft padding everywhere, but the padding is cut on the heel strap close to the Achilles tendon. It feels OK for me, but take a note. There are other revisions of this product (this one is 'D'. check the other letters), which do not have this problem.The insoles are comfortable and quite technical with shock absorption and a membrane for diverting moisture. No idea how it will behave after stepping in a puddle or sea - it may trap water over the membrane.. The sole is anatomically correct and comfortable, but the foot arch support is minimal (compared to sports footwear). The width at the front of the foot is narrow-medium adjustable, borderline sufficient for me. The insole colour is light, and it will get stained in a most disgusting way.The sole welt is minimal - it is safe to drive in these sandals!

These Geox men’s sandals were a huge disappointment and I had to return them because the Velcro fastening straps were too short to fit my reasonably normal feet.The overall fit and sizing was perfect as was the overall construction and appearance of these sandals, I would buy them if only the straps met.

I have been buying my 84 year old father Geox sandals for about 16 years. I bought his first pair in Dubai UAE with only a measurement from my mom. It fit perfect. Since then, every 3-4 years my dad would ask for a new pair. Only because he wears his shoes about 350 days a year.I now live in Seattle WA USA and have the opportunity to send something back to my parents in SA. When I asked my mom if I can send them anything the first thing she said was “your dad needs new shoes” The only place I could find them was here and although the delivery time said 1-9 November I received them today on the 26th of October. What a relief as my friend will be coming on the 3rd of Nov. The service, product and shipping was excellent. I am hoping my dad will be around for the next 3-4 years and I know where I will be buying his shoes from.Thank you.

Der Schuh 👟 ist von der Farbe wie abgebildet ! Ein schöner Sand Ton, der mir absolut gut gefallen hat. Ich habe die Schuhgröße 43 und habe die Sandale auch in 43 bestellt und passte perfekt !!
