I like that the author included downloadable patterns for free rather than trying to gouge the reader. A link to different craft paper designs that the author had tried would've been nice, but the lack allows the reader more room to be creative themselves, so that could actually be considered a thoughtful move on the part of the author.

Didn't know what to expect but this was a lot of fun for my 9 year old daughter's birthday. It kept them busy for a good amount of time and I also had fun helping them do the cut outs. Some of the designs are more complicated than the others so I would recommend doing a trial run on some of these if your are considering it for a younger crowd. Also, make sure your color printer is the kind that keeps the color on. I used heavier paper so that the hats would be a little more stiff but keep in mind the paper weight still needs to be pliable enough to work with. The only issue I had was trying to figure out how to pin it on securely on the head as bobby pins didn't seem to do the work. If you get craft headbands, it may have worked better to glue the hats on them so they stay on at the right angle. Very cute project!

I purchased this book for a party activity for my daughter and her friends. Following the instructions was a little difficult with the group, but figured out one by one. I did have to download the kindle for pc app in order to get the file on my computer to unzip and print. Probably something best done at least a day ahead of when you want to make it if it's for a group of kids. The biggest disappointment was a missing template for the black top hat. There was no template for the bow and band. I did email the author to see if they can send it to me for future use, so we'll see if I'm able to get it that way. Just a warning.

The templates, idea, patterns are all included plus they can be downloaded on your computer. What more can you ask? Use your imagination, be creative, or just use the patterns provided. Make a hat that is all the rage right now! I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a template and/or ideas on how to make these adorable hats.

I've had this book saved on my kindle reader for a while and I finally opened it looking to check out the process which overall does seem simple to follow. The problem that I have is twofold: 1) when you click the link provided in the book to download the templates you're directed to an error page and 2) if you take the time to look on the site for the printables what you learn is that they cost $5. Had the authors just sold the book for $5 and included the template or noted anywhere in the book blurb or even in the book itself that there was a cost for the printables I would have been okay with the price but instead the authors intentionally mislead potential customers with a title that says the book includes the templates which it doesn't.

I like it. It downloaded okay. The only thing I do not like is that I have to find a way to print the templates. I have not made one yet but I have read the directions and looked at the pictures. I look forward to making the hats.

Very cute book, My kids had a blast making the little hats.This was fun for us to do, easy to make.

I haven't made any of the hats but the instructions seem clear enough for them to be an easy to do project.

Need top hats for my little teddies and search high and low and then came across this little book! Brilliant! If you download onto your computer you can print off the templates.

Not as good as expected

This book was great, bought it to help make snowman hats with my two nieces aged 2 an 5 the templates where easy to use an they had lots of fun.

Ex easy to follow would recommend
