Excellent product This thing is a beast.
Purchased it circa year ago. It arrived complete with additional bits and made to endure. Semi followed instructions because I used fully synthetic 10-30 motor oil and mixed it with 85 octane gasoline 25 to 1. On the 5th pull it started and worked like a charm. Normally, before storing these types of small engines, I would remove or shut off its gasoline supply and run engine until carburetor is emptied. However, I forgot & stored it for circa 1 year. Fearing the old gasoline had damaged its carburetor, circa 3 weeks ago, I removed it from storage to empty its old gas. However, it appears the synthetic motor oil helped to stabilize its gasoline. On the 3rd pull, it ran like new. Everything works and I would 100% buy this again

Beats digging holes by hand
This worked well for me. It's not what I would call industrial strength, but it got me the holes dug that I wanted for my deck piers.

Super ready to Work!
I know this little guy is a an asian knock off, but it is a good one. DO NOT RUN THIS ON 25 to:1 Oil ratio! 50 to: 1 only. The spec's say 25 to 1, but it got hot right away on that. Dumped out gas/oil mix and refilled with 50 to 1 and it gets little whiffs of 2 cycle smoke but not bad at all. Running cooler and has more power. Would rather a 2 cycle had to much oil than to have it cease up from running an air cooled engine to hot from not enough lubrication. By the way the carb was flawlessly preadjusted and ran great instantly. Make sure to prime with bulbe well before trying to start with full choke till she pops. Good digger.

Did the job
Very easy to use. Started right away. Good value. The negative was the instructions manual. Referenced a warranty section...no warranty section. Also NO contact information.

Great tool for the price
I'm putting in a personal vineyard, and used this to drill 16 6-inch diameter holes 3 feet deep and 4 8-inch holes 3 feet deep for my posts. I was able to do all the drilling in about an hour. (I had to buy an extension to be able to drill 3 feet instead of the normal 2 feet this thing can normally dig.)This does vibrate a lot, and drilling the 8-inch holes was really a workout. If I were to do it again, I'd have a friend help me.I would absolutely buy this again. I can't imagine digging all this with a manual post hole digger. If I never use it again, it was still worth the purchase price.

It worked well 3 times and then the starter broke. Cheap plastic hub.
It worked well 3 times and then the starter would not recoil and the spring was broken off the cheap plastic hub that holds the rope. I had the unit 2 months and dug 7 holes for planting some shrubs, and it was very handy for this. However the plastic hub that the rope is supposed to coil around is very cheap plastic and did not last. I have contacted the company but have not had a reply. I'd look elsewhere for a reliable brand.

Little engine that can.
This little engine is surprisingly powerful. I run in on a 25:1 ethanol free mix. I’ve used it in extremely hard ground and it still digs fine. It cut through some 3-4” tree roots as well if you take your time and let the machine do the work. All in all, for the price, I could not have asked for anything better. Any self aware operator should have no issues with this auger. For anyone else……you better hold on tight.

Cheap plastic parts
Started right up and dug about 20 holes pretty easy. The only real complaint is the plastic housing and parts. After the first few holes, I layed it down (not rough) and it obliterated the choke lever/cover and plastic housing. Still able to start and run by just covering the choke hole with my thumb if it’s cold. After the job I set it in my yard trailer with other tools and when I drove it to the barn, something or somehow the trigger broke clean off. Understanding perhaps I could have been more cautious but this plastic crap is way to flimsy and brittle. This is a tool for tough jobs and should be built to withstand some abuse. Hopefully I can find parts to fix it. Would be 5 stars if based solely on performance.
