This is an excellent product, it’s done wonder’s for my husband! He suffers from a skin condition that causes ulcers to form on his legs, arms, and chest, and he also had an infection in his toe from an ingrown toenail. I found this product while searching for something to use on his toe after he ran out of the prescription ointment he was using to get rid of the infection, because it didn’t seem to be completely eliminated yet. He used it on his skin ulcers as well as his toe, and after only a few days of use, his toe is doing great and his skin ulcers have healed dramatically! I’m already here to buy a second tube because he wants to make sure he doesn’t run out. I highly recommend this product!

This iodine ointment was strongly recommended by a family member's Foot Doctor. She was kind enough to send me the link for this particular one. My family member has frequent "blow outs, or blisters on feet and legs, that burst and must be tended to until they heal. For reference the water is due to one kidney/9-11. The feet and legs can swell and this is the result. The iodine ointment according to the Dr. strengthens the skin around the wound for healing. The ointment is so clean to work with and is easy to apply. It is iodine and can stain, so we cover/bandage and keep it under wraps in check. The ointment blows away the liquid betadine I was using, because it's simply not a fluid. Good healing properties/anti-bacterial and ease of storage & application makes me glad for my relative that I care for, to have a really solid and proven product in our arsenal of care for them

I have not tried this yet, but look forward to the thick texture not running like regular iodine. I thought this was colorless, but it is not.

My podiatrist recommended this for blisters. He said "Don't mess around with anything else the first few days you are treating them on your feet or anywhere else. This is what the pros use." Good enough for me. I've (sadly) had occasion to need it a couple of times since and it works better than any other ointment I have used before this. Caution: As this ointment is brown in color it is likely it may leach to your sock. Use sparingly - you do not need much. And cover it with a band aid.

Recommended by my doctor for a foot sore. Small enough tube to go through airport inspection so I can bring it along for travel.

Very effective antiseptic ointment, but gooey & messy. Does not stain. I am not able to learn what the base is, if any - is is petrolatum? This would be less messy if the ointment came out of a smaller opening.

Foot Ulcers, this stuff is super. Best stuff I have used.
