Can I use aloe vera gel?

Thank you for your interest in our EM37 abdominal EMS muscle belt.

This unit should not be used with any gel or lotions.

To use:
1. Before each training session, ensure the skin underneath the belt is clean and free of creams or oils.
2. Lay the belt down with the electrodes facing up.
3. Dampen the electrode covers and your stomach with water. Make sure that the electrodes are evenly
moistened to avoid voltage spikes during use.
4. Place the belt around your waist such that the electrodes are positioned
on your stomach and the Control Unit is over your navel, then fasten the
hook and loop closure. The belt should be tight enough for good contact
between the electrodes and skin, but not constricting.

Does this include any attachment gel pads, or do you directly wrap the belt around your waist?

Question 3

I need to tighten my core due to low back injury. Will this help me strengthen my core without further injuring my back?

Dear Bill,

Thank you your interest in our Beurer EM37 tens belt.  This product is not intended for persons with medical conditions or for use in rehabilitation.  It is always a good idea to consult your physician in regards to using the device for a specific issue, as with a lower back injury.

The abdominal muscle belt works on the principle of electrical muscle stimulation (EMS). The belt generates gentle electrical pulses that activate nerve pulses which contract the underlying muscle fibers.  The stimulus is less specific than with active abdominal muscle training, so this device can not completely replace actual muscle training.  Electrical muscle stimulation is used for muscle toning in sports and fitness to achieve a powerful, slim attractive body.

The applications include:
muscle warm-up
muscle definition
muscle and skin toning
muscle relaxation.

Can you used it for weight loss ? (255 lb) 50 in waist measurement?

It’s advertise weight loss.  Used in conjunction with reg exercise       But as a weight lose itself.   I would serious doubt it.
