DON'T BUY THIS
I always see these 1 star bad reviews and I wonder why people are so mad. Now, I know. If I could give this 0 or even negative stars, I would. I bought this for my husband for Christmas because I had one a long time ago that I loved and had for years. It was for my Droid which I guess is the difference... Anyway, this one lasted 2 months and it is dead... will NOT charge. I am so disgusted with this product 🤮

Love this case!
Great for when you need to charge your phone, mine is always dying so this is a lifesaver! A little bit heavy so I recommend this for emergencies only.

Great value! Very good performance.
The POAQCIF Battery Case for iPhone 16 Pro (6.3 inch), Ultra-Slim 7000mAh Rechargeable Portable Charging Case Extended Battery Pack is the first battery case I've owned so this review is from the perspective of a noobie.Right out of the box, without charging, it said 4 bars so I went ahead and used it. Supposedly you should fully charge it first per the instructions. Installing the case is very easy, the top is thinner and peels back so there doesn't appear to be stress on the connector when putting the phone in (from being at an angle, or whatever). That was one concern I had that was immediately alleviated!I waited until my new iphone was down to 10% and then tapped the button once to turn on the battery pack. It immediately started charging and in almost exactly 2 hours, it had charged the iphone to 95% (that was the limit I set in the iphone). There was still one bar displaying on the battery pack. I attached a pic of the charge profile - pretty fast and steady. I would expect that with a full charge and after a few cycles, the capacity of the battery case would exceed that of the internal iPhone battery (i.e., more than 2x the life without the case). This case also makes it easier to keep your iPhone battery from overcharging and to extend it's life by using the recommended 80% max charge. There is no way to set this level of charge on the battery pack but that's ok - they are not expensive and easy to replace, unlike your iPhone battery. Two taps to the switch and it turns the battery off mid charge.I plugged in the battery pack to the USB-C wall wart and both the phone and the charging pack indicated that they were charging. I only had 5% to go to the iPhone before reaching the max but it appears that the iPhone charged first (it was quickly charged) and then the battery pack took over the power from the wall wart. The case itself is nice - rubbery but not weird feeling. Grippy enough but not too grippy. And there is a small ridge to protect the screen. The ridge around the lenses is not very deep but with the battery back there I likely doesn't need to be.It does add some heft and considerable thickness to the overall device. I upgraded from a very svelte and thin iPhone 11 so this is a bit shocking but the phone itself is shockingly thick. I guess Jony Ive doesn't work there anymore! With the significant protrusion of the iphone 16 Pro lenses, the battery pack is frankly less of an issue with regards to thickness. Overally, it's comfortable in my pocket and I don't mind the extra weight. It is 1000x better than a standalone, corded battery pack. That is what I've always used and they are awkward and cumbersome by comparison with this battery case because the two pieces are always sliding around and you don't want to put stress on the cord/connector and break your phone. You do lose magsafe functionality but I imagine that this would just make the thing that much thicker so a good compromise.

Jury's Still Out
The first item was returned as it ceased to function after 2 days of working. Now using a replacement case. I can tell you that charging the case/phone is klugy. The instructions are an obvious translation from another language and do not convey critical info regarding 1. how to charge the phone from the case (push the button on the back) and more importantly #2. how to charge the phone and case. I'm still not clear on how, but, I believe the phone has to be in a state of charging from the case when you plug it into the wall at which point both the case and phone charge. This was not a question or issue with prior, similar cases.

Great Charging Case
I recently picked up the Battery Case for iPhone 16 Pro Max, and I have to say, it’s an excellent charging case, especially considering the price point. It fits my iPhone 16 Pro Max perfectly, and it’s not any bulkier than other charging cases I’ve used in the past, which is a huge plus. The 7000mAh battery seems to do its job well, providing a full charge (or even a little more) on my phone. I usually activate the charge when my phone is around 25%, and within an hour—while still using the phone—the battery is nearly full. That’s pretty impressive! One of my favorite features is how it prioritizes charging my phone first when plugged in, and then charges the case second. Not all charging cases do this, and it’s definitely a make-or-break feature for me.I’ve been using charging cases for the last 7 or 8 years with every phone I’ve had, and I needed one for my new iPhone 16 Pro Max. This case did not disappoint! It’s a solid, reliable choice and definitely worth the purchase.

Not a good buy
The worst ever but didn’t last a week, thank you to the seller at least for the refund, I don’t know if my piece was bad or something but I needed to replace it with another charger within a week. Please don’t waste your money on this based on my experience, thank you.
