My 11 year old rescue shih tzu has dry eye in her right eye. This from what I can tell improves her eye,so the vet says,we use 3 x a day,doesnt stress her out and seams to work.

They lubricant the dogs eyes but not the most affective on removing any gunk

My dog has dry eye for life requires drops x2 daily vets cream £98 a small tube !! So looked at the ingredients these have similar £10 for 2 bottles! Her eyes look really good and clear been using these 2 weeks now so thumbs up from me
