Surprisingly awesome.
So I bought this (with other co-workers) as a gift for my bosses b-day / bosses day as he is a hunter and mentioned he lived my CRKT / SOG blades that I showed him. The one he seemed to like the most isn't sold anymore so this was the next best thing. Just looking at it you may think its just a basic blade with a plastic handle, no. It's one of the heaviest and sharpest blades I've seen in this price range in a long time. The handle is nice and weighted, very sturdy and feels AMAZING. I am almost sure you could have the knife and your hands wet and your hand won't budge. This blade is build so amazingly the photos can't do it justice. Get one and just hold it, that alone will make you want to keep it. Well balance, very sharp and hold edge, very nice handle and ergonomic for left and right handers, very sturdy, thick high grade steel and strong handle that grips your hand as you grip it. Also comes with a nice sheath that can be adjusted to any angle and position so you can carry it on nearly anything! I will def. be getting myself one as well. We go him this last month and he's used it hunting and he hasn't had to sharpen it once as of yet.

Great design, robust, very well made. The perfect
CRKT comes through again with another great knife. If you are looking for an all purpose fixed blade that is tough, reliable, and made of very good steel without breaking the bank account, this knife may be perfect for your needs. Using SK-5 steel the heavy blade will take a razors edge and keep it. Full tang. Hand filling G10 handles. 3.3 inch blade. Powder coated. The Kydex sheath is high quality, pancake style, and has multiple grommets on both edges to accommodate a variety of mounting options. Knife snaps in securely with a precise fit. Knife also comes with a detachable Tech Loc style belt mount that can be used for vertical or horizontal carry. Sheath mounts easily on Molle and takes up minimal space. Can also be mounted behind other pouches. Great kit knife. Buy it...you will be happy. Thanks CRKT.

Really good purchase/grip and a top notch multi-position sheath.
This knife immediately caught my eye, and aside from that... I love CRKT! I shoulda read the description better cause this only has about a 4" blade. Now don't get me wrong, this is an excellent knife and a multi-position sheath don't hurt either... but for my liking, 6"-7" blade is best for me. PRO'S - fits very well in the hand (good purchase) and the sheath is excellent w/ good retention. It came "utility sharp", but a few passes on my strop... and now it's razor sharp. CONS: (and this is more of a personal gripe) The blade is just a couple inches too short. My 7" CRKT Ultima or my Buck/TOPS CSAR-T is the perfect length. Hard to baton anything but smaller sticks w/ a 4" blade. Sharpens easily, and I can't over emphasize how good it feels in the hand. If you want a quality knife w/ an excellent sheath and a 4" blade.. this is the knife for you!

Nice blade, nice price
Mine came razor sharp out of the box so not sure what was going on with CRKT's CC for the unfortunate folks that got a dull one. The steel is easy to sharpen and touch up. Edge retionion isn't bad. The coating helps to mitigate rusting concerns. Design is great. I prefer G10 scales and the design on this knife is fantastic. No matter how i grip it I have very solid control of the blade. Comes with a Tec Lok for multiple carry options. I carry it horizontal appendix and it doesn't get in the way at all. Overall size is about perfect for unobtrusive carry. Only complaint is that I would prefer a larger thumb rest on the kydex sheath to aid in the draw but that really is just nit picking. Overall I'm very pleased with this blade. CRKT has another winner. Just wanted to point out that the Esee Izula II is similar so you may want to compare. Micarta handle if you prefer that and some like the hole in the back of the tang. Also similar to a Bradford 3 but those are going to be more expensive due to material and workmanship.

A great addition for any knife enthusiast!
Im sold on CRKT! This knife is everything they described. After some thorough research of many knives, this one hit my mark. It's compact, yet comfortable in my hands with ambidextrous finger divots that align perfectly with my grip pattern . A sturdy 1-piece drop point design with a thick spine definatelylooks like it can take some abuse if needed. Knife locks tightly into the sheath and offers different carry configurations. Worth every penny!

Durable ergonomic EDC knife.
I added this knife to my EDC a little over a week ago. This is now by far my favorite knife I have owned. The handle was designed to be ergonomic no matter which way you hold it. It also features a full tang. Since this is harder steel the knife will keep its edge longer but will also equally be harder to sharpen. The one complaint I have doesn’t even have anything to do with the knife. It’s the clip system that it comes with. I personally think it’s too bulky for how I like to carry my knife. This is also why I use the soft loops from DIY Holsters. This clip itself is a very durable hard plastic. Pros: hard steel, customizable carrying, ergonomic handle Cons: clip system but it’s optional

Good product, I highly recommend it.
This is an excellent knife. It has a great heft to it for the size. The curve to the blade puts it in a great cutting position without any awkwardness. It has a a very good feel to it when you grip it. Even if you have large hands you should still like the fit. The only knock against it that I have is a personal one. I don't quite like the grooves in the scales. I personally like smooth scales but that is just me. I like the finger choil and the thumb jimping is good. The blade was sharp but not cutting hair sharp. If you are looking for a economical but heavy weight knife for camping or all around use, this knife is for you.

Beast of a little knife
Feels amazing in hand, sheath is nice, but like so many glass reinforced nylon sheaths, dulls the blade, after two days with the knife on my belt....the knife is dull along almost the entire length of the blade....which effectively renders the sheath completely useless. The knife did not come super sharp, easy fix though. fit of the handle is a tiny little bit off, heavy, thick, little blade, super impressed so far. Knife ***** sheath: no stars three stars overall...imo

Great knife, very thick stock
I have to say this knife is actually pretty high quality for the money. Fit and finish is excellent, and details like the quality of the initial grind are really good. Ergonomically, it's great. This is definitely on the higher end for CRKT production quality. The accessory clip that comes with it is similar to a Tek Lok and works very well. The sheath is great – well designed with very strong retention and it gives a lot of options for mounting. The only real negative for me is the thickness of the blade stock. At 3/16" thick, this thing is extremely chunky. That means it's well-suited to e.g., batoning through logs as a splitting wedge... less so slicing tomatoes or tape on Amazon packages. It's not marketed for that – this is a hard-use knife and that's fine – but I can't help but think that this would still hold up perfectly well at 1/8" or less and make much more sense as a slicer. I have a hatchet that's thinner behind the cutting edge. The paint also adds some drag that means e.g., corrugated cardboard is a huge pain with the Siwi. Definitely recommended, but be aware what this is designed for and what it's not.

Great utility
This is a good all-around fixed blade. It's not really fancy steel, it didn't come out of the box crazy sharp, but it's got a great helf to it and the handle fits perfectly in your hand. The tek-loc included is nice as well. Feels like it should last a long time, even if you do have to sharpen it often. Gerber Strongarm and SOG Instinct mini included for size reference.

Great Knife, But Terribly Overpriced
This is a nice little knife. It’s sturdy, it fits well in your grip, comes sharp enough, and it should accomplish the role of a small utility knife well, in most day-to-day cases. As an EDC option, it may be a little bulky in an urban setting, but should be OK in a rural context. I’m a long-time CRKT customer, and I’ve come to rely on their products for a variety of EDC items. Having said all that, this knife is MONSTROUSLY OVERPRICED. You can get something that does the job equally well for ¼ of the price, or else get a full-size, fixed blade knife that can do a lot more. In short: Great little knife, but not a good cost-benefit option. You’re paying a premium for the brand here.
