These are home tandoors which are not required to be certified. Commercial tandoors used in restaurants require to be certified and our commercial restaurant tandoors are NSF/ETL/ANSI certified

Hi how is this different from the ss2 version that is not currently available on amazon? which is preferable for a family of 4 and 5-6 guests?

The difference between the SS1 series & SS2 series The SS1 is the medium size home tandoor and can cater to approx 10 people, you can make 3-4 nans in one go which are done in a minute or put 6 skewers in one go and each skewer can hold 3 drums sticks or 5 pieces of tikka and these are done in 20 minutes The SS1 has the following dimension , dimension sketch attached height - 22” diameter - 16” mouth opening - 10” weighs approx - 88lbs The SS2 is large size home tandoor and can cater to approx 20 people you can make 6 nans in one go which are done in a minute or put 10 skewers in one go and each skewer can hold 4 drums sticks or 7-8 pieces of tikka and these are done in 20 minutes SS2 has the following dimension height - 26” diameter - 18” mouth opening - 11” weighs approx - 132 lbs
