Not hot enough
Red light is good but the near infrared is weak the mat does not get that hot. Also if u live in dubai just know that u will need an adaptor. I got another small red light mat from amazon tht gets hot enough not sure if this one is defective

I bought this to accelerate muscle recovery and alleviate planner fasciitis. It alleviates any, if not all joint pain. I use it three times a week, and I cannot say enough about it.

I just received it today and used it for the first time. (I've done red light therapy in a commercial setting before, so I know I'm not sensitive) It does seem like it's a good quality light compared to the commercial ones, though I do wish they made a XXL version It only covers me from the neck to half way down my calves. (I am 6'2" and 240 lbs) the width seemed good enough, so that my entire torso was covered in red light. I don't have specific pain that I am looking to alleviate, just have heard about the benefits of red light and would like to see if it helps with sleep, weight loss, and skin appearance. I look forward to doing a video once I've used it long enough to see results. UPDATE 11/25/24: I've been using this for over a month now. I do 20 min sessions (5 times a week) with full IR & Red. I also the pulse at 10 Hz or whatever measurement it is. I had seen a YouTube video that mentioned 10 Hz, so I thought I'd start there. There isn't a huge amount of stuff about the benefits of pulse yet. TMI...I do use without any clothes at all. I haven't seen AMAZING benefits yet, but maybe a little bit of improvement in my skin. It's not drastic if it's there. I didn't have any major pain, just the creaks and pops of getting older. I think I have seen a minor improvement with those. My sleep has gotten better, but not until I started using my CPAP, so I don't know how much I can credit this device. I do have an issue with the bag that it came with. It seems to be cheaply made and the stitching has come loose and the drawstring. I have yet to reach out to the manufacturer about it, but will keep you updated on how that is handled. **(update)** I have added pictures of the bag failure and just contacted the manufacturer to send a replacement on 12/4/24 Overall, I have mixed feelings on the device, but from most of what I've researched about red light therapy is more preventative than anything, so I will continue to use it.

I had been using LifePro’s red light therapy belt as a test to see how it affected my loose skin and lipedema after lipedema reduction surgeries - but you can only do small areas at a time with it. So when this went on sale I pulled the trigger, because I really need whole body therapy. When I spend 20 minutes in this, I lose so much inflammation and fluid it’s like I spent 2 hours in my lymphatic pump. It gets nice and toasty warm, but not hot at off. You do need to use this completely naked as the red light will not penetrate clothing. But the inside is a nice plastic that you can wipe down and clean after each use to keep it sanitary. My only negatives are that the controls are at the foot of the blanket, so you have to turn it on and then get into the blanket and get zipped in with the red lights glaring at you, but they do give you glasses for this - but they don’t fit over my existing glasses so I had to get a different pair. It would be nicer if the controls were up at the head of the blanket. I would also love for it to be just a bit wider, but it works ok as it is. I actually do a separate session with just my arms stuck in the blanket to make sure I get them well since I would need more width on the red light pads to get them fully - and I do have a lot of loose skin on my arms due to my surgeries. But even those negatives aren’t enough but to deduct maybe 1/2 star given how well this works and the value.
