ONE Capsule (2000+ Eggs) Daphnia Magna Water FLEA Eggs Alive Fresh

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these to culture and to add to my palladariums and aquariums. I felt these would be a valuable addition to increase water quality and provide a natural food source. After reading the reviews I was not expecting much if anything to hatch or grow. I followed the directions and placed the eggs into remineralized ro/di water. For the first 2 days nothing happened. A majority of the eggs stayed afloat but I would use a syringe to spray them and keep them moist and submerged. I did this throughout the first 2 nights around every 3 hours. I feel like this was the biggest challenge. Its not in the directions to do, I just wanted to increase hatch rates. After about 4 days I started to notice movement and at around 2 weeks I noticed a population explosion. I placed one under a microscope to confirm that these little guys are 100% daphnia magna. This seller is great. A little slow to ship, but this species if hard to locate online and amazon was the only place to find them in stock. I'm grateful this seller has them available. I would recommend these to anyone in the hobby. Just be patient and KEEP eggs moist and in the sun and you'll have a colony in no time.
