My Little Pony Singing Rainbow Dash Doll Playset

my son really wanted a rainbow dash for his birthday. he also really wanted a red microphone. walking the isle of a store with my friend and my twins to see what she wanted to get them by seeing what they wanted...low and behold...my son spotted this toy! it was a whopping 19.99 though. plus we didn't want to buy the items until they weren't with us. we were just getting ideas. long story short, we went on amazon and found it for 5 dollars cheaper!! BEST gift of the birthday gifts hands down. he hasn't put it down. sturdy, well made and has an off switch ;)my negatives are that the wire connecting the microphone to the pony is a bit short. he doesn't seem to mind it though. the other one is that while he is in the midst of a song, the pony will start talking and say great job, well done...when he hasn't even finished his song. that upsets him often. "shes not listening to me".otherwise, 2 toys he wanted in one single toy. AMAZING!! She of course sings the songs in the show and he loves that. His twin brother is more into transformers rescue bots and paw patrol and he puts his toys down to stop and sing with rainbow dash too. it is very cute. They put their sunglasses on and sing with her or on their own.it took them a little bit to figure out that one direction of the button was demo mode. you cant sing on your own in demo mode.great toy!

This was a birthday gift and was a great value for the money. The instruction book was helpful and. I'm not sure why there is even a demonstration mode though, and since the descriptions are difficult to read on the toggle switch it is easy to end up in the wrong mode. Microphone doesn't really work. The volume from the pony is so loud I can't even hear myself through the speaker. Otherwise, it is still a cute singing pony and the songs and lyrics book are great for My Little Pony fans.

I bought this pony for my 5 year old for Christmas and she loves it! It’s very sturdy, not cheap like at all and it’s colors are very vibrant. You can easily attach the microphone to her leg for easy storage which is every convenient. It does play long length songs but you have to make sure to switch it to the “on” position because when we got it , it was on “try me” and didn’t play full length songs. It also speaks a few words which my daughter loves as well. Also, to get the microphone going you have to press and hold the little blue heart that’s on the microphone and to get the pony to sing you push on the rainbow icon on its thigh. It’s glasses can flip up and can be removed but it leaves a big hole so we just leave them on. Overall it’s a great little pony.

Updated:The second one arrived and everything is functioning well. Our daughter loves it... although we are not sure why we exchanged it for one with a microphone that worked. Our daughter didn't even know it was supposed to also have a microphone function... now her voice is amplified sooooo loud. Joy LOLPrevious Review:Our daughter loves this. I bought this for our 5-year old daughter for Christmas. She loved it! She loves to sing and she uses this all the time. The toy is super cute and does not have any small parts to worry about. It's also not super loud, so I don't find it annoying. She had a little issue with the microphone - it stopped working even though the pony was still singing. I went to the Hasbro website and explained the problem to customer service. They will fix or replace the toy if it is non-functional.

My 5 year old daughter loves this toy. You can brush her mane and tail and she sings! Great gift!I will add the microphone doesn’t stay upright well and sometimes her cutie mark “sing” button sticks. But it doesn’t deter my daughter-she love her singing pony!

This was the hit of my 5 year old granddaughter's Christmas. She had been asking and asking for it. I thought the price was comparable and it sure it giving her a lot of joy!

The kids love this toy the only problem is the microphone is barely effective you can hardly hear anything from it. Other than that it’s a fun singing toy. If you flip the sunglasses up it stops singing. Press the side button to change songs.

Cute toy for children. My kids are loving the songs, and singing along.
