This is the BEST cofee! You would never know it's decaf as it's so smooth and rich tasting. It's water processed and not chemically decaffeinated, which is important to us. We've also tried the regular whole bean organic coffee and really like it as well.

This is a good partner to the regular coffee, as I like to mix them 50\50, or good to go to if I want a cup without caffine.

The Lavazza was even spoiling my coffee to the point it was undrinkable in my Contigo 24 oz hot container. I drank it for nearly 9 months and as of about 3 months ago, the roast was way off or the beans were potentially not the right quality. I had to stop drinking coffee, that I drink for the taste, not the caffein. Caffeine puts me to sleep anyway and my nurse told me to lay off altogether for at least a week to let my digestive system heal from the inflamation. I began my search for the best option that had less acid, no caffeine, organically grown and tastes great. It even seems to take less Steviva for it to be sweet enough for me. I use One Root Honey for my herbal tea and coffee at times and Lavazza always took more. I bought the 2 pound bag and before it even arrived, I ignored the bad review and ordered the 5 pound bag because we drink so much coffee -- usually 10 pounds a month. Love it and never going back to Lavazza. I hope they get their act together at Lavazza, it used to be a great coffee. First drank it in Italy 53 years ago and loved it till now. Never again. My new brand may be my favorite for the rest of my life.

I've enjoyed Don Pablo regular and decaf coffee in beans for many years but now at $73+ for the 5 lb. bag it's beyond what I call a good value. In the past year the price has risen exponentially, since 2021 by a stunning 76-percent increase. Supply chain issues, growing issues I don't know what to believe. It wasn't available here at Amazon, so I went to their website to order on Aug. 6, 2023, it's August 24, 2023, as of this writing the price was $52.99 for 5 lbs. of beans. I've received two emails telling me because of high demand my order is delayed yet they are now offering it again here. If it's in Amazon warehouses where is my coffee? At my price on the order maybe they would like me to cancel and later pay their premium price. I was born in the afternoon but not this afternoon. In addition to ordering coffee for myself I've sent their gift packs and special selection coffees to friends and relatives who are big coffee drinkers. They too like the coffee but won't be seeing it again from me at these prices. I had a nice run but will now search for something more reasonable and affordable. Competition makes the free markets go around so goodbye Don Pablo.

I used to love Subtle Earth Organic Decaf. Although it is decaffeinated, the flavor was wonderfully deep and roasted without tasting burned. The only problem that I had was that delivery took forever (more than a month), so I decided not to order this coffee. However, because I could not find any other coffee brand that was as tasty as this coffee used to be, I was ecstatic when the coffee became available again on Amazon and quickly ordered 2 bags of 5 lb., assuming that the coffee would taste just as great as before. This time the delivery was really fast, which was great; however, when I tasted the coffee, the flavor was not the way it used to be; the coffee was extremely bitter and sour and tasteless despite trying many different methods to make the flavor better: changing the ground size, adding vanilla extract, adding ice, adding salt, adding nutmeg, adding cinnamon, etc. However, the flavor did not improve at all. I wonder if the bad flavor was because that this is not coffee season and thus the beans were picked when they were still green or perhaps the seller had to purchase coffee beans from a different plantation/supplier. Anyway, I am so disappointed with the change of flavor and will most probably gift the second bag to somebody I know has a low standard in coffee taste, so that they won't notice the difference. My hope is that in a few months this seller can go back to selling the great tasting coffee beans the seller used to sell after the new coffee bean harvest makes better coffee beans available. They should really avoid using green/unripped coffee beans which merely taste bitter and sour.
