Remus Ladder Bookshelf, Oak and White

My bookcase arrived neatly packed and all the pieces were in perfect condition. It is definitely more solid than I had expected which is a plus. I was able to assemble it in less than 30 minutes on my own without any problems or extra tools. Love the simple, clean lines and minimalistic look of this bookcase. Before it arrived I was a little concerned it was meant for lightweight decorations and would be too flimsy to house books. As you can see it has had no problem holding up the weight of my books. If you are looking for a functional bookcase which is not bulky and doesn't take up too much space, this is it. Love it so much I am wondering if I should get another one.

The quality is decent, and I think the style is the best out of all the ladder shelves I could find on Amazon. I use it as my bathroom shelf and it works great. It provides a few anchoring points to the wall which I didn’t use, I used a rug underneath to add friction instead.It also came missing one screw, but still the shelf holds up fine.

Individual parts came damaged, but we still ended up building the bookshelf. The damage looks unnoticeable if you have the shelves covered with lots of items and you nail in the broken off pieces, but it was a good indicator of quality. Also the instructions tell you to nail the shelves to the wall for stability. If you can't do that, you can add double sided tape to the legs and back of the shelves. It works for our purposes but I regret not just getting a standard bookshelf from a more well known brand. I don't think I'd recommend the item.
