​Ultrasonic Bark Collar ​for ​Small Dogs - ​No​ Shock, ​Pain Free ​Control Device

For those of you with a small dog yapping problem - this is your very affordable solution! I have 4 dogs - 3 very laid back large older dogs and ....a 2 year old Yorkie. The Yorkie is always the one who starts the barking and then the other dogs feel like they needed to follow. I had tried the more expensive bark systems like Petsafe - the zapper - don't judge - because I was desperate. It was not fun to walk them anymore. After a year of replacing batteries and cutting his neck hair, I decided to try a new collar. I was very skeptical about the K9 because of the price actually but the reviews were favorable. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE. I just came back from an amazingly pleasant walk with my 4 dogs and there were only a couple of yips from my little one as we passed other dogs! My life has been changed! Also, I am in the midst of a rehab project with workmen in my house and he doesn't bark at them any longer! If he does bark at all, the noise it makes seems to stop him from barking more without even getting to the vibration.The only downside of the collar is when he coughs after he drinks water (for some reason he always does) sometimes it will go off because it works on vibrations. It doesn't seem to upset him much and I take it off him if he is really having a fit. Do yourself a favor and try this! I can't imagine you being disappointed.

If I was able to give 0 stars I would. The package arrived in an envelope that didn't seem fitting for the item purchased. The box was scratched and the instructions pushed to the bottom and folded which seemed odd for a new item. Of course these things aren't worth writing a negative review about. The collar was very low quality and did not work.The collar clasp would not unclasp on the first and only time we placed it on our puppy. I tried, along with two others to remove it from our dog by pulling, trying to untighten the strap and so on. We were about to cut it off when we finally were able to loosen it and remove it. During this time I was emailing the seller to ask for recommendations. After some back and forth which seemed unnecessary I asked for a refund.Returned the item and was told that I was past the refund, warranty timeframe and that the item was not defective. However the emails from the customer service representive were awful and unlike anything I've seen from Amazon sellers; which are typically understanding and generous. I would never recommend their products or purchase from them again.

Bought this for my five pound yorkie who likes to bark at everything. It worked well for the first week or so. It's not too big and I liked the fact that it vibrates instead of shocking because my dog is such a little guy. The only thing is, it goes off when my dog shakes his head and body, or when he's scratching himself. And that's something that he does quite often, so he got used to the vibration after about two weeks and started barking at everything again. If this collar could be upgraded to be less sensitive to shaking and scratching, I would definitely try it again.

I don't leave many reviews on products but this product has changed our life! Before I go into how... I do need to say one thing about the description. It says the topaz has ultra sound. It isn't I can hear the beeps.The FLAW I mentioned in the title is that another dog CAN set off the collar. But there is a way to fix that. Keep reading... I would have given 5 stars because it really has changed our lives.But because of the 1 flaw and description error about the beep I gave it 4. But still worth it.We have small dogs and I have tried everything to get them to not bark. Nothing worked! I wasted so much money trying different things. MY DOGS ARE STUBBORN!!The barking was so bad that there were times we would get headaches from it. If anyone walked in our room they would go nuts. If my daughter was talking in the other room, they would go nuts. It has been this way for years and was really starting to affect our lives. It was hard to have company because of the constant barking.These are our babies though and re-homing them was not an option and I was not going to use anything that would be cruel to them.I bought 1 to start with to see if it would work. I was already expecting this to be another item that would be added to the list of does not work. I decided to try this on a weekend because I wanted to make sure I had time to adjust the settings if they were too low or too high.I started with the low setting. Didn't work for my stubborn little one. So I decided to take it to a higher setting.OH MY GOSH!!!! She barked, heard the beep and kept barking BUT then came the vibrate!! This is vibrate NOT shock. It does not hurt the dog just gets their attention.After that she stopped barking. SHE NEVER STOPPED BARKING BEFORE (None of them did!) I would have to have meetings in another room because anything could set them off.After 2 days of wearing the collar (I did take off at night) she realized what the collar did and I was able to lower the setting.NOW - The BAD part... Since I wanted to try this on one dog to see if it even worked before buying another one, when my other dog barks it WILL set the collar off if she was within 2 foot of the dog wearing the collar. I did not like that at all. It wasn't fair to punish her because another dog was barking when she was being so good with the collar on. (The company really should look into a way to fix this flaw!)The fIX ! Since they both have the same problem of barking non-stop and I saw this collar worked... I bought another one. Now, if they do decide to be stubborn and bark it will beep then vibrate and they will stop.What is the outcome? They don't bark hardly at all. My house has become peaceful again. My kids could not believe it when they did things that normally set the dogs off and the only thing they might hear is a tiny very low bark 1 time then silence.Let me say this though... When you have an animal you are bringing them into your family for life. And just like a child, some animals will have behavior or anxiety problems. It is very important to incorporate training with this collar. When it beeps or vibrates you should use a verbal command such as "no bark" so they learn what that word means. This way you can have times when they are not wearing it but can give the command and they can learn to not bark.Also, animals need exercise and they need to be able to have times where they can be vocal. It is in a dog's nature to bark. So they should be allowed to have free time without the collar. But you can teach them the difference in what is a reasonable bark and what environment it is ok, and what is taking it too far and needs to stop.I have already recommended this to friends from work. This is the best cruelty free NO shock collar I have found.The style I got is very small and lightweight because my dogs are under 7 pounds. I did have to cut some of the collar to make it fit because it still was a little big. But after that it fits perfect.I charge them at night and they last fine. I have never had them die on me but because I charge them each night I can't tell you how many days the charge holds.Again my only complaint is that it can be set off by other dogs barking within 2 feet of the dog wearing the collar. And they should fix the description for this collar in regards to the ultra sound because it is NOT. I can hear the beep. It isn't loud but I can hear it.If you have tried other things and don't know what else to do, I recommend giving one of these collars a try. Another thing I liked is their return policy. It said you can return it even after you cut it to size to your dog if you are not happy. That was a big win for me because I was tired of wasting money on things trying to find a solution to the problem.I don't work for this company. I was not paid and was not given a product for a review.I am a real customer who is just super excited that FINALLY something works and brought some quietness to our house without being cruel to my four legged babies.God bless!

I'm so disappointed. The first few weeks, they worked great. Now they don't work. We've charged them and switched the settings to no avail.
