This Roman chair is solid and well-built,no wobbling during exercises. The adjustable design lets me switch between hyperextensions and sit-ups easily. Takes up minimal space but feels sturdy enough for intense workouts. Perfect for targeting lower back and abs at home. Assembly was straightforward too. Definitely worth it if you want to step up your core training.

Pretty good, but a bit flimsy. You have to be sure to have your feet on the base or the whole thing can tip over when you bend, especially side bends.

The Roman Chair is a very niche piece of exercise kit. I decided this might be useful for me as I'm just of an age where I sometimes feel a bit of lower back weakness. I do cable rowing for upper and mid back conditioning, and thought the Roman Chair might be really good for lower back. Positives: this is quite well made. Sturdy metal box section are welded to make the frame, and the small number of sections bolt together firmly. On that count the instructions are a little poor, but basically every bolt should have a washer on either end- just take time to watch out for where the different size bolts and washers fit. The whole thing is finished in a matte black paint and looks very smart. Once assembled, there's a simple height adjustment to set the Chair to your height. I'm 5 feet 7, and find quite a low setting puts the pads at hip height. The Chair is NOT completely stable- make sure your feet are well positioned before performing hyperextensions. Don't rush. The Chair does allow a good range of motion once set correctly. Next, it features a pair of handles facing forward which should allow it to be used for dips or just possibly leg raises. Personally I don't feel these are really robust enough for dips, they distinctly flex under load. In short, this item is pretty well made with my only reservation being the dip handles. The feet could have been a bit wider for stability but would increase the footprint, and that''s a real consideration for many users- do I have room in my home gym for such a specific piece of exercise kit. I work-out in my shed, so can just lift it outside for space. That would apply to any Roman Chair of course, not just this one. Completely forgot to add: If you turn the chair round and back it up to your exercise bench it can be used for Preacher curls, a good bicep isolation exercise.

Great way to work out the upper glutes and lower back. It’s a relatively small and lightweight device but easily handles my 6ft 215lbs without issue.

Absolutely amazing addition to my home gym. Does exactly what its supposed to for my glute workouts. I was a little concerned it wasn't going to be sturdy enough, but it works wonderfully. Im 5'6"-123 lbs and my husband is 5'6"-215 lbs and it works great for the both of us.
