Long lasting battery life!
This is a great camera with a very long battery life. I love that I can turn the spotlight on when I hear a noise and I want to see what's out there. It works well with the rest of my arlo's but doesn't require the Arlo base.

The 5th generation is nearly as good as the 6th.
I originally purchased the Arlo Pro 6th generation, two of them. A neighbor asked if I could adjust my camera so it would catch a certain area she wanted covered. I tried and couldn't. So I purchased this unit because it does most of what the 6th generation camera does, for a lot less money. It was easy to install and integrate into my arlo system. I can't see any difference between the images from this camera and the 6th generation camera. The battery life is supposed to be less, but so far that hasn't been an issue. Long story short, it's a great camera at a really good price.

Don’t invest
Worked great at first so we updated our whole system… after months they all started dying? Or bad quad, and stopped notifying . Batteries where trash .

works good on WIFI not with hub
Works good on WIFI but was not able to get VMB5000 hub to sync with it (bought hub so video was local). looking at other solutions..no not ring
