Just installed these in my wifi security system sensors at my vacation house.. I expect longer battery life than normal alkaline batteries and not have to worry about my system going down while no one is home.

Worth the buy

Longevity not yet known but am assured it will not leak and ruin my devices.

While these lithium batteries last longer than most if not all alkaline batteries, they are also quite a bit more expensive than alkaline batteries. The other main feature of the lithium batterie is wider operating temperature range and maintain a more stable voltage and current output. To test this, I placed both these batteries and the alkaline ones in the freezer for 40 minutes and then tried to operate a low demanding remote control. To my surprise, both sets of batteries failed to operate. Ater at 68 deg room temperature for 15 min, this lithium batteries set was able to operate the remote but the alkaline one took take another 4 min to able to operate the same remote.Is it worth the extra cost? I suppose it depends on one’s application and prospective.

Battery provides power

They Seem to work well. However, even sealed in plastic and in the box, they put off a strong chemical smell, similar to a break cleaner smell.Odd Oder as it is strong though the package.I’ve inspected them, they don’t seem to be leaking, but they are smelly.
