This works great. I was looking to add another one of these to my collection as I just bought another Dewalt tool that was too cheap to pass up. Compared to my older one, I was surprised to see the USB-C and USB-A charging ports. That’s a nice addition. This fit and works great!

Great adaptor to use Makita batteries on your DEWALT tools. Great functionality and value for your money. Longevity should be good, plastic construction is solid.

I have a small collection of DeWalt cordless tools, as does my father. I recently got some Makita-style 18v batteries, but the tool they came with was pretty useless. So, I figured I'd get this adapter and just use the batteries with my DeWalt tools. Long story short, I'm stuck with an adapter that's nearly useless to me. The only DeWalt tool I can use this adapter with is my floodlight. All my other motor driven tools, such as my vacuum, 7" chainsaw, my Dad's jigsaw, drill..... this adapter cuts power as soon as the trigger is pulled. I suspect that, since this adapter has a USB port with step-down voltage regulating circuitry, that it has overvoltage/overcurrent protection, and that's keeping this adapter from letting a battery power a tool with a motor in it, since motors have a high initial current draw. So yeah, I have practically no use for this now. Construction seems fairly durable, but even with that, I can't recommend this to anyone that needs to power a motor-driven tool.

This adapter works perfectly, and the USB chargers are an extra plus. Note that the negative reviews are typically for people who did not read the description properly, and don't understand that this will allow you to use Makita batteries on DeWalt tools (and won't work with a charger), not the opposite, or with Milwaukee batteries, etc. , etc. It's a sad comment on people's inability to understand what they read.
