This speaker was such an awesome buy for me. I am debating buying a new one. After over 3 years, in the last week the volume keeps getting stuck on high. Sound is so good that high volume is too high for small spaces. But this really is a great speaker. After looking up my order and seeing that I got over 3 years regular/daily use (including by water/pool and with young kids & dogs around, being moved around regularly), I am stoked with the product. As I said, debating buying a new one, for now almost half of what I paid 3 years ago. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy to use/easy to charge/holds good charge/great sound portable speaker option.

Powerhouse in a petite package! This little speaker has enough sound to fill up my whole first floor and then some. I haven't had it long, but I've tried it out in many ways; plugged into my computer-works like a charm. Using the Bluetooth as a speaker with my Amazon Fire Stick on my tv which have speakers that are awful - fills the room with great sound using Pandora and Prime Video like a speaker should. Paired with my Fire Stick super fast and with my Motorola G Play in a snap. The distance, so far as I've checked, from one end of the living room through the house is over 30 ft and no signal loss at all. I will test the distance better at a longer stretch this weekend and vacation. Speaking of vacation, one of the reasons I got this particular speaker is the water and dust resistance is a must at the lake with the family and in case someone should tip over my kayak as I am listening to some tunes. I was really hoping for one that would play from a USB drive, but now that I have installed a 32 Gb micro SDHC card that I just dumped a bunch of music on, it plays fantastic too and it's covered up and protected by the little rubber flap. Shipping was on time and pretty quick. Sitting hear listening to Van Halen right now, and to be honest for the great low price, I could not have asked for more from a speaker at this price, sounds great. I have listened to a bunch of the speakers at the stores and some are better sounding, sure, but all had a higher price tag and there was always something more I needed, like water resistance, ability to play a micro sd card, or portability. For my needs, it's a rugged little speaker that puts out some big sound. I'm no music snob, I just want to listen to music that doesn't sound like it came out of tin can. The Doss e-go II had it all. Time will tell, but for now I am a happy camper!

The Ego-II is DOSS’s new addition to their Bluetooth speaker line. At $39.99 and at 7.8 x 2 x 2.5 inches it’s the small end of the scale. Its size will allow it to fit well in places where counter space/footprint is premium. This could be in a kitchen, bathroom, or a child’s bedroom. Since it is IPC rated, this will work in environments that others speakers wouldn’t work in. Sound quality is very good for its size. Small speakers suffer bass issues just for the sheer fact they are small and can’t have large bass speakers. However, this one handles the bass well. As most passive bass speakers go, it sounds better when placed a few inches from a firm surface. Using a frequency generator through my phone I was able to hear from about 55Hz to about 11500Hz. Of course, younger people would be able to hear more than that but I was happy with what I could hear. Classical music is surprisingly clean with good highs. However I noticed as the music gets more complex, i.e., more instruments added, it tends to get a little muddled. Music like club/techno which depends a lot on lower frequencies will show this. Pianos and acoustic guitar are pretty clean. Voices are crisp and pleasing to hear. Overall it’s a well-built speaker. It’s a low-cost speaker with better quality then you would see in others. For a kid’s room, bathroom, kitchen, or even a workspace (garage) this would work well. Enjoy.

I needed a replacement for an older waterproof Bluetooth speaker for my son, and read through the reviews of this one, and bought it. Pretty good price point, no fancy LED lighting, just a solid build, good quality speaker that is durable. Bass is just ok, but let’s be reasonable on the speaker size. Midrange and treble is really good, and battery life seems better than the one it replaced! I have not dropped it into water (or a toilet), but it’s really for the beach, so it shouldn’t get THAT wet! We liked this one, 4 stars (would have to be perfect for 5, imo)

For the price, this thing bombs. Very good quality sound. Sleek and simple design, easy to use and powerful for the size. I left with my inlaws it in the Philippines because it was blowing their minds lol

I gave this speaker 5 stars all around based on size, sound, and price. Yes, there are better sounding bluetooth speakers but for the reasons above, including portability, you can't go wrong with this one. It sounds great, its loud, and has some pretty good base, but it won't blow you away kind of base. But again it's a pretty small speaker so I'm not expecting the impossible. So far battery life is great. I'm not sure how long the battery will last on a single charge but I used it on a 12 hour shift at work, had it going most of the shift and it was still going at the end of the 12 hours. Also note I had the volume at about 50%. The higher the volume the more battery drain. It looks like it has two speakers in the front and a speaker on the back for base, which may be a passive speaker. If your looking for a portable bluetooth speaker built well, with good sound, and can fare the elements you won't be disappointed. If however deep base is the most important thing to you, you may want to look elsewhere. DOSS probably even sells some larger ones with better base.

Ich habe diesen tollen Bluetooth Lautsprecher über Transmitter gepairt mit meinem Philips TV, der keine Bluetooth Funktion hat. Dieser Lautsprecher ergänzt meine Bose Box, wenn diese aufgeladen werden muss. Ich kann diese Bluetooth Boxen neben meinen Sitzplatz stellen und TV hören ohne Hörgeräte und ohne Nachbarn aufgrund Lärmbelästigung zu ärgern. Die Reichweite ist bei ca 10m Entfernungsehr gut, danach teilweise Aussetzer. Tolle Optik ( habe die hellgraue Version), tolle Haptik, nützliche Trageschlaufe, toller Klang, toller Preis :)) Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!! _______________________________________________ Update 11.09.2019: meine Euphorie ist verschwunden, seit einem Tag funktioniert das Gerät nicht mehr; Ausschalten und Koppeln funktioniert nicht. Selbstverständlich wurde das Gerät geladen. Schade, gibt 2 Sterne Abzug, es sei denn, der Verkäufer schickt ein Ersatzgerät, welches einwandfrei funktioniert für die nächsten 2 Jahre.

Sounds fine, nothing fancy, it's just for portability after all but not too small. Pairing is easy enough. But volume control always out of sync after pairing, need to fiddle with either the buttons on PC or the speaker on connection. Got it at flash price well below regular - now I'm wondering if it's refurbished, returned or even faulty. The rubber material on the switches are now showing minor signs of peeling or crumbling after only two months. Often there is no response via volume control on the PC. Couple times it "froze" and stuck with blue light on - no response to any button press, no indication of low batt, not connected i.e. unusable. Charged it and then it worked again. Warranty details from merchant are a bit vague. If not for the flash price, would've returned it.

Sono già in possesso di un prodotto doss , e mi sono fidato di questa marca perché non mi ha deluso e ha rispettato a pieno le mie aspettative , una nota di merito va all’assistenza che mi hanno fornito , d’avvero straodinaria la rapidità e il servizio offerto per cui ottimo sotto questo punto di vista . Allora che dire di questa È-go ? Il design è molto piacevole , un misto fra lo sportivo e l’elegante ma comunque molto piacevole , le dimensioni sono quel giusto compromesso fra portabilità e potenza , perché si amici mie suona molto forte ! Ovvio nei luoghi aperti non ci farete un party ma va comunque più che bene te ascoltare musica anche all’aperto ! In spiaggia al parco o perché no anche in bici , si sente forte e chiara , 12W ben utilizzati , bassi corposissimi vibra un sacco ma grazie alla base in gomma non scivola per nulla su nessuna superficie , che dire al prezzo in offerta al quale è la consiglio vivamente

Utilisé principalement à la cuisine, le son est suffisamment fort et clair à environ 1.5m du fourneau. Mieux que des oreillettes c'est certain. Limite trop puissant pour la douche. Très facile d utilisation, la connection BT est quasi instantanée. Pas assez puissant pour être utilisé dans ma vieille voiture, mais je m y attendais (12W en pic hein...), je pense qu'il me faudrait 2x 50w Je pense que l autonomie est bonne, je charge après une dizaine d hr préventivement. Je n ai pas eu l occasion de tester en extérieur

This is a powerpack of a unit, had it a while now and I'm still surprised at the volume this thing can put out. The battery life is likewise superb and I haven't had it run out on me yet. I have had a few Bluetooth disconnections when playing YouTube videos through it whether that is the unit or my phone though is unknown. I bought it mainly because I wanted to use it on my boat to play MP3's from a memory stick and this does so via a micro USB card. It's a bit fiddly to get going opening up the side flap and ejecting the card then replacing it to make it start, I've found no other method of getting it going. Scrolling through music is my main gripe, but it is a minor one, a long press of one button or another to go back and forth respectively accomplishes this but to move through several albums worth of music is a bit laborious and press intensive. Trying to get the Line in function to work to use as a PC speaker has been a non-starter though, I did contact the supplier to see if this was a fault and after initial contact they failed to respond so don't know what's happening there. All in all though I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this item to anybody, it's evenrated as waterproof to a degree although I haven't yet tested this, it's well priced and bloody impressive especially at this price.
