I'm a drummer and have a drum studio in my garden shed with it being soundproofed it gets very hot this has solved the problem entirely bigger than expected and very powerful, with three settings it's ideal, and economical. also being wall mountable it's out of the way, highly recommend.

Brought this for a small on stage fan during the hot weather to keep me cool. Have to say it’s a great fan, good throw of cold air and being small and lightweight is a massive bonus. Not quiet as some others have noted but certainly no louder than an average fan.

Bought this as a floor fan for my dogs who do not like this hot weather. Its a good size with a stable base. It's a little noisy at highest setting but as I have it in hallway it doesn't bother us. And I think you'd probably get used to it as background noise after a while. There is a very good flow of air, it can be felt some distance away when walking past it. Most importantly the dogs are feeling the benefit. When they need to cool down they're lying directly in the path of the air flow.

I bought this product after reading the various reviews on Amazon. There were several comments about the noise level but I knew that if it was an issue I could return the product. The fan is very effective and the noise is commensurate with its power particularly if you need to use it on level 3. I use this in my caravan awning to ensure a breeze near our fridge outlet as the awning gets very warm on a sunny day. So far I have found level 1 more than adequate for this task. As per other comments it does seem a little strange that it turns on at 3 and you turn it down to 1 but this soon became 'normal' so wasn't a problem. I also bought a small oscillating tower fan for inside the caravan and this also starts at 3 and has to be turned down to 1. The casing is very sturdy and the fan sits on a broad base so doesn't wobble. It requires quite a firm movement to tilt the fan upwards and downwards, but maybe this is because it is new. I am very pleased with my purchase and would thoroughly recommend it.

On its highest setting, it sounds like you're sitting beneath a Boeing that's about to land. The fan is powerful but very loud. As per other comments, it's a bit weird that it turns on at 3 but was not really an issue.

Perfect for my office

Some are critical of the 3,2,1 switch, not an issue for me as I just turn on and off at the wall and for £22 I'd say it was pretty quiet. Admit I tend to only use speed 1 as this is perfectly adequate for my purposes, the air flow is MUCH better than the ubiquitous white desk fan. In the summer it helps keep me cool, in the winter it circulates the wood burner heat for a more uniform room warmth. As a rough estimate I'd say in the 10 months I've had it, it's been run daily for 7 of the 10 months and is as good as new.

It's amazingly loud. Would totally not recommend buying it. Had to return it on the first day of use.
