Holds a charge well! Perfect for my needs.
I had purchased this to provide light for my new small outdoor shed that I'm building. The package arrived and I hadn't gotten the chance to try it out because the shed isn't finished yet. So it stayed in the packaging for three weeks. Yesterday, there was a power outage at 6am, so not even a glimmer of sun outside. My first priority was to check on my chicken brooder in the garage. I didn't expect the light to actually work since I hadn't even charged it. It worked like a charm and gave me adequate light to tend to the babies.Last night, I decided to hang the light in front of my unfinished shed to see how well it would perfom with only having charged it in the sun for a few hours. I turned the light on at 8pm and it was still giving out light at 6am, albeit much more dim, but enough to see around the space adequately enough. I'm sorry that I don't have images of last night's test in front of the shed. Perhaps I'll add to my review later after a bit if time using the light. For now, I'm very pleased.

Great little solar light
This little thing is worth every penny. I bought it as a light for inside my shed and it does a great job. Im not sure how it will hold up in the dead of winter and the freezing cold, we’ll see I guess. For the price you’re getting a little solar panel with a micro USB, so no reason you couldn’t use it to charge a phone or battery. And you’re also getting the bulb unit, which is bright enough to light the inside of a 10x12 shed just fine.UPDATE: It’s January here in the northeastern U.S., it’s well below freezing most nights and this light is still working fine. I actually bought a second one to add more light to the work bench in my shed. I am impressed with the solar panels - even in low light they still function and work to charge the lights. I am thinking about buying a couple more to use for power outages.

Solar panel seems to work but doesn’t charge light bulb
So far I can’t get this thing to work. I’ve left it plugged into the wall for hours (it will work then, for how long I do not know as I used it for about 10 minutes and then turned it off). I moved it out into the chicken coop with the solar panel out in full sun all day (indicator light showed it was taking a charge), checked it, and it is completely dead. I’ve been doing this for a week straight. So it spends all day in the sun and doesn’t work and will only work if I plug it into the wall. Currently a complete waste of money

Using for Coturnix quail hutch
I like the long charger cord and hook so I can place solar panel in the sun. The hook allows me to hang the light out of reach of the quail. The light is used to encourage a longer laying season since quail will stop laying during the late fall and winter otherwise. It also encourages them to go inside for the night because unlike chickens quail will sit out in the night. The light has a switch to turn it on and off so for my purposes I would rather it go on automatically at dusk like solar path light do but for most uses the switch would be advantageous. I charges to some degree of brightness even on somewhat cloudy days which is great. I haven't timed the light but it stays on plenty long. I haven't had it during camping yet but plan to use it for camping next year and expect good results if it holds out that long.

Strong light, love the solar power, work perfectly!
We bought 2 lights for our duck coop. We previously used the regular lights they sell at our farm store for poultry which have to be plugged in to a socket. We had to string together 4 extension cords to get power out there. The solar power for these lights is so much more convenient for us. These lights are so bright we only need one! They also act as wonderful little lanters for the kids as they button up the coop at night. We love the little hook for hanging it. The bulbs charge even when there is not direct sunlight on a cloudy day. We bought ours because our ducks stopped laying due to decreased daylight this fall. After about 3 weeks of using thes bulbs, the ducks are beginning to lay again! We couldn't be happier with this product. Thank you so much for making these!

Impressed is an understatement
I got this for a 6x8 shed in my back yard and I am so glad I did. No extension cords or wiring and in my case, zero hardware. It was hella easy to thread the solar panel through the top of my shed and it sits subtly on the roof getting all juiced up. It dangles perfectly inside of the door and lights up the whole shed with a small click of a button. Definitely worth a try.( I bet it would be great for camping js)

Great product
This is such a nice light. It is nice and bright.i love how durable the light and soler pad are. It has a nice hook on the light so you can hang it up.I will be buying this again for a few places, like our shed. I do wish it had a feature that would turn the light on when it gets dark.
