Long Replacement Pot Handle for Vintage Amway Queen Cookware Sauce pan and Skillet in Non-OEM Original Style

I was unable to get a replacement handle for my expensive stainless steel sauce pan. The first one I ordered from another place had a poor listing description but I took a chance and of course, it didn’t fit.The description for this one was so thorough and I was sure I found the right one. I am so happy that my pan is useable again. It was the right size, it went on easily and it is of such good quality.Thank you!!

The long replacement handle clearly was designed to fit the Amway Queen pots as shown in the nunuware photo. Looks exactly like the original, except the company name on the underside and the metal band around the attachment end.Getting the screw to line up perfectly with the pot's mounting hole took a little effort but was not difficult. Fits perfectly. The nunuware metal band closure is fold locked rather than crimped like the original, so it should stay in place and protect the handle if used on a gas range. There was a warning on the literature insert to keep flames off the handles.The Amway pots are now at least 45 years old. Original Bakelite handles began to chip and crack under the metal band after about 25 years and completely broke at nearly 35 years. The nunuware handles are still very new, so durability isn't known yet. If the new handles last as long, finding replacements will be a future generation's problem. If there are problems, I hope to get this review updated quickly.

I didn't realize the handle is a little short for larger pans. But i used it on a smaller pan and swapped the bigger handle from that pan to my bigger pan. All good.

This worked great with my 48 year old Amway Queen skillet. Good quality. Perfect fit.

It fit perfectly and saved a 45 year old Duncan Hines pan which was in excellent condition otherwise. Better quality than the original in that the replacement screw is stainless steel and the original was steel which was badly rusted into the threaded receiver on the pan. The original screw snapped apart when I tried to remove the handle. If this happens and the remaining stub of the screw is rusted into the receiver you can get it out by heating it with a torch. (I used a MAPP gas torch.) When the stub glows red hot grab it with pliers and it will twist out easily. Then you just have to clean up the threads on the pan before installing the replacement handle.
